Great game to play with friends and family. The game isn’t all that hard, but has a lot of fun abilities to team up with. Playing it with my 8 year old daughter. she’s had some trouble, but nothing major at all. If you want some nice relaxing local multiplayer with pleasing graphics and good gameplay then I’d suggest picking this up

My son loved the Kirby on snes and 3ds. He is enjoying this one because there are tons of things for him to do. It's also great that he gets to have 3 other helpers. The side games are great for the family. We have four controllers connected, and we would compete to cut down trees, hit the baseball across space etc. Good fun for me, my wife and two young ones.

The best part about this is multiplayer. The multiplayer design for this game is perfect, there is no stepping on one another's toes, no accidentally killing one another, none of that. Next, the new powers, the combinations, the imagination, all very fun. My husband and my little brother who lives with us played this together, and we all love it. Lots of fun!

My partner is not a gamer like me, but he ended up playing this game before me and beating it. It's quick to just press a button on the second Joy-Con to join and play co-op. It is a short game, but it is difficult to find a game that is both fun and engaging for a casual gamer and experienced gamer. I would suggest getting this game when it is at a discount because you may be slightly disappointed about the length of play for the full MSRP.

As a long time fan of Kirby since the first release for Gameboy Kirby’s Adventure the series has had some up and down moments much like Sonic. This time much like Sonic the great Kirby rises from the ashes puts out a top tier switch game early in the systems life cycle. Fans will not be disappointed and new players will find it easy to jump in and play.
it was fun, but not an experience worth 60 dollars

Kirby Star Allies, just like most Kirby games, is by no means a game that requires a lot of skill to play through. The allies mechanic is neat, but in single player mode the cpu's would solve the puzzles themselves. This mechanic seems to be more balanced towards a 4 person coo-op than a single player experience as the cpu allies can solve most puzzles with minimum effort. On that note the game doesn't stop holding your hand until the last few levels. Most puzzle contain hints that remove any need to think about the puzzles.
Some of the bosses had interesting designs but I felt the boss fights weren't long enough or not enough was done with them. take the buff DeDeDe fight. the design I thought was highly amusing, but the fight itself felt lack luster.
The second to last boss I felt was the only boss to require a bit of effort to defeat and had some interesting mechanics as it used similar attacks to the Allies power. I felt if the game had maybe 2 more worlds after this where it could finally flesh out more tof the mechanics in the game play and have bosses that were a bit more difficult this game would have been worth the full 60 dollars, but as it sits now I would suggest people wait on this game until there is a sale, or they can borrow it from a friend.

I bought this for my son about two years ago and he has definitely got his (or rather my) money's worth. He's beat the game numerous times. It's provided hours of enjoyment. It was worth every dollar spent on it.
If you're a Kirby game series fan, I can't imagine you wouldn't enjoy this.

My young boys have recently started playing video games and this game is great. I remember playing Kirby on the Gameboy and now I get to play with my sons.
Having up to 4 players is cool. The difficulty is relatively low so younger players can have a chance to enjoy it. Definitely recommend this game.

It's a kirby game so it good on its own. Great platformer with boss battles and forms to change into with kirbys copy abilities including a new feature to combine elements to these forms. Great music. Simple plot but interesting plot. Updates that are like free dlc.

Fun game for those who grew up with Kirby and easy for those who are new to him. Friend mechanic is simply to use which allows up to 4 players, AI controlled or players, to play along the story. Collecting all the puzzle pieces is a fun way to relieve the memories of past Kirby titles. Only CON my friends and I had were we wished Kirby Star Allies featured online co-op. It's a small CON as we still enjoyed the game regardless.
