John Hamm is one lucky guy. And it's not because he's in Mad Men. And it's not because he's in this movie for 5 minutes. It's because he
happens to be Jennifer Westfeldt's significant other who with Heather Jurgensen wrote a really sweet, witty, well acted, intelligent movie on their own dime and did it as well as any "major" movie studio. The movie is not about being gay/lesbian or straight. It's about finding someone who really gets you and complements you as a person and these gals both did a fabulous job. The dialogue was witty and fast faced, the scenes were terrific and the music was the icing on the cake. I almost felt like I was watching an early Woody Allen movie. A+

I remember liking this movie when it first came out over 10 years ago. Upgrading from DVD to blu for only $5 was a no-brainer.

Kissing Jessica Stein is one of my Favorite movies because it opened my eyes to ways of living that i had never experienced. Jessica Stein is a young Woman looking for a life partner and finds love in the back of a news paper in the classified ads. Meeting Helen is a life Changing event for Jessica and I enjoyed the Fresh humor and Flavor that this movie provides to the ever changing society of today.
