It looks good and works even better. So far I have done the usual microwave things: reheat, defrost, etc all of which work as expected I'm looking forward to using the other options now that I have a little more time like air frying, baking, dehydrating. If this continues to do those the way ot does the usual, I'll have a lot more counter space!

Wanted a flush mount when re-doing the kitchen cabinets, liked that this appliance was all in one with a toaster and air fryer. we've had it installed for 2 months and are very happy with it. Love not having the other items on the counter. Was worried about the size of the interior, so far it has not been an issue. It takes some getting use to the interior sensors, items that would have boiled over or exploded in our old microwave, just take a little more time to warm. Easy to install, and we rotated the fan motor to vent outside, THE BEST VENT FAN I'VE EVER SEEN. Hope the appliance is durable enough to last a good long time.

Loved this product but quit working after less than 3 weeks. It was immediately replaced and happy with the transaction. Had it for 1 week and so far, works like a charm. I tried every function and I'm pleased with all operations. I would given it a 5 star but unfortunately it had to be replaced.

Love it! Took time to know how to use it but I’m so happy with it. Love the flush kitchen cabinet.

I bought this microwave to complete a new set of kitchen aid appliances. By the way we love the other units but detest the microwave. Why? The push open to the door is slow. For the price, the microwave cooks slow. The microwave cook is NOT even and you are not supplied with a turntable mechanism.

My wife and I really like our new microwave, air fryer, and induction oven. It looks like a champion!

Looks great, works great. Very happy. Hope it will last 30 years like my old one. Used in my motorhome

I couldn’t be happier with my KitchenAid 1.1 Cu. Ft. Convection Flush Built-In Over-the-Range Microwave with Air Fry Mode. From the sleek stainless steel design to the powerful performance, this microwave has upgraded my entire kitchen experience. The first thing I noticed is how clean and modern it looks. The flush, built-in style gives my kitchen a high-end, seamless finish. It doesn’t stick out or look bulky — it actually enhances the whole space. Functionally, it’s amazing. The convection cooking is a game-changer. Foods heat evenly, quickly, and without drying out. I’ve baked, reheated, and even cooked full meals in it with results that are surprisingly close to a conventional oven. But the real highlight is the Air Fry Mode. I’ve already used it for fries, wings, and veggies, and everything comes out crispy without needing much (or any) oil. It’s incredibly convenient and saves me from pulling out a separate air fryer. The controls are intuitive, the interior is easy to clean, and the overall build quality feels solid — exactly what you’d expect from KitchenAid.

pro - nice design. Has a lot of nice added features which eliminate the need for extra equipment (air fryer). Have tried out the airfryer mode and it's quite nice. Hood vent feature is nice and strong, but loud. con - compared to my old microwave - interior is smaller, no turn table, and microwaved foods take longer to heat (about an extra 30 secs to a minute more). Display functions look nice but you need to tap things 2x - i think 1st to wake up the unit. Also when things are done heating you have to manually hit the clear button. The clock also keeps resetting itself (having the microwave replaced as it was delivered with a dent, so i hope the new unit doesn't have the same issue).

Frist off, I really love this OTR! Kitchenaid truly thought things through when it was designed. The inside cooking cavity is a little small, although give that the design of the OTR to be flush with the cabinets, this is to be expected. Unfortunately, after using it for 18 days (and the first time I attempted the toasting function), the unit completly died (with food inside no less). I have heard good things about the customer service from Kitchenaid, although I’m surprised at the lack of engagement with Best Buy’s total membership. Since it’s a factory repair item, they are totally hands off and are of absolutely NO help whatsoever - I would give this a 5 star rating other than the quick death and the refusal of Best Buy to do anything (their lack of service compounds the item’s failure and leads me to really rethink future purchases).

Product is powerful, functional and quiet. We love the look and it is very user friendly.

This is a beautiful microwave with many options unfortunately most don't work properly. I tried to bake several items, cobbler (burnt on top, runny in middle) mini muffins (burnt on top) adjustments were made to decrease normal temps/time. corn muffins on air bake did not brown at all with increased time. fresh corn on the cob in the microwave usually takes 3 mins was burnt in spots. Several conversations with Kitchenaid service telling me that I would have to keep trying to adjust until I got it right. I don't have to do that in my normal oven. Also should note that while the stainless steel is fingerprint resistant, the glass control panel is not. Always wiping fingerprints off. Finally returned this item.

This unit has decluttered my kitchen. We donated our toaster and air fryer. I also enjoy using it to bake smaller things without having to turn on the oven and make my kitchen hot. I enjoy the digital components. I really want to point out the light function which has a low and high setting. We enjoy leaving it on at it perfectly lights up the kitchen with no need to add extra under cabinet lights. Besides the functions I truly am obsessed with a it’s slick and modern look, it makes my kitchen look fancy.

I have had this microwave for about a month and I have mixed feelings. We had a 1.9 cu kitchenaid microwave previously and this is smaller. Also there are delays when using this microwave. Additionally I used it for air frying and my food was not evenly cooked. The plus side- it looks nice, I like the flat no handle visual, and has many functions - more than a regular microwave.

Very good except that the manual that is included with it is terrible.

Very poor quality. Microwaves unevenly. Nearly impossible to completely clean with all added rack holders, etc. Sound alert when meal is finished has failed after just over 1 year and makes very odd, annoying sound everytime meal is heated. Would never buy a Kitchenaid again. Overpriced and overrated.

The new microwave is amazing. It is almost replacing the dual ovens I have as it can bake with convection. It also is nice that it has an air frier. I was wanting to add one to the kitchen but did not want to add another appliance to the countertop. the metal finish perfectly matches the stainless steel counters and backsplash that I have, and it looks like it was meant to be there. Our old microwave's open button broke so it was time for something new. This is quite the upgrade. Also I will add the installers did a phenomenal job of getting the old one out and the new one in.

It looks elegant, is easy to use, and the extractor works really good. Once built into the wall, it looks bigger than I expected.

The magnetron in the microwave has become very noisy and sounds like its about to give out any day now. I've only had this unit for a year.
