This microwave fits wonderfully where there was a vent hood. Very sleek design, and easy to clean inside and out. Looked at the regular whirlpool combination unit and decided to go with this one due to all the additional pre-sets. This is definitely worth the money.

We love this KitchenAid Microwave. It's slim looks have drawn rave reviews from our family and friends who have seen it. No problems at all so far and it's more than big enough for our needs so that is a non-issue. Highly recommened.

Weird thing to say about a microwave, but it looks great. Very sleek and modern. This is the second home we’ve put this same model in. First time we purchased we were concerned they it might be too small, but it most definitely was not. We had no issues.

Nice and sleek, fits nicely above my range. Was concerned about the size but it has not been a problem. Had to get used to the controls behind the door, took some time to adjust to pressing the time, closing the door and then hitting start. I like the open door assist, works great when you have your hands full, easy to reach for the button and the door swings open, Seems like a novelty item but this microwave makes perfect popcorn, never burnt. Fan is loud, I typically use the low setting since it seems to do a good job pulling air without feeling like you could suck in an arm! In summary, another quality built KitchenAid product.

This microwave is smaller than most but only in size and not performance. It works great and the fan and lights are just what I was hoping for and with the added clearance above my range. Install was straightforward and simple.

Had to buy this one because I was limited by height. You will not be limited by space with this one! There is enough room inside for your standard dishes/mugs/bowls etc. Looks great/high end.

I already bought one of these, the Whirlpool brand for another property. That brand did not turn out to be that good. Due to that reason this time I chose KitchenAid which was more money. This one definitely is better quality than Whirlpool. The buttons are better. It pops open better than the other one. It is as good as a regular microwave but it takes less space and looks more sleek. It gives more room between the top of the range to the microwave. As long as you are not cooking your turkey in the microwave, you can have one of these sleek ones.

The vent fan is powerful and efficient yet not overly noisy on the high speed. Great sleek design and love the hidden controls for the microwave.

Excellent microwave. Perfect size for what we use it for but it freed up so much space over the cooktop. It looks very sleep and the automatic door opening is a cool feature. I can’t believe how low the old microwave came down over the oven we could never go back now. It is the perfect middle ground between a hood and a microwave. The exhaust is actually very powerful on this and much stronger than your average microwave, more like a good.

Not a cheap microwave but perfect for our limited space. Easy install, plenty of power and a great exhaust fan. We had limited space and this solved the problem.

Not the cheaper microwave, but it looks fantastic. Needed KitchenAid to match our other appliances. The low profile look is great.

We love KA appliances. This slim microwave has a very powerful vent fan and really allows room above the stove, unlike the big-box microwaves. We like the freedom of that.

Great thin exhausting range top microwave. Replaced pretty much the same microwave but full sized. Now we have the much needed space above the range top. Exhaust and lights work great. Anything that we would normally put in the microwave fits. That was a concern until we realized that we just don’t stick things in that are that tall. The only issue now is that my wife is too short to see inside so double check that. No complaints and would recommend this if you have this setup.

The microwave was packed well and when box was opened there was no damage. The installation directions were easy to understand with minimal print errors. On page 5 everything seems to be identified as A or B or C. but the pictures made it easy to understand. The microwave mounted up under the cabinet just as the instructions indicated. I followed the instructions as printed and had no problems. The KitchenAid low profile microwave has been working great. With the microwave in place we can still see the kitchen range top and its controls very easily.

It was either customize our cabinets or buy this smaller microwave. Full sized microwave was too low over our stove. We love the sleek design and it's performance.

Needed a thin microwave and this one fits perfectly . Cooks just like a bigger unit. Love knowing the built in turntable is cooking the food thorough just as well as a bigger microwave also! Looks clean, neat, and not bulky !

I love the size and total convenience of my new microwave. I love that it doesn't have a handle and it opens with the touch of a button. It's absolutely beautiful!
