Great microwave. Large capacity and easy to clean. Stylish design fits nicely over cooktop

I like the add 30 second button on the microwave. It makes it easy to reheat food.

We don't really use the Microwave much. We soften butter (it has a button for that) and we heat up frozen vegetable packs. My wife might use it for a frozen low cal diet every so often but I don't. Might heat up a slice of pizza or a muffin on occasion. It does all of those things. It's kind of noisy. The vent fan does a good job. Nice to have three speeds. The cook light is nice and bright. Not a blue LED looking light either. Installation was easy. Not much else to say. It's a microwave. It works. We don't use it much but wanted to ditch the greasy white 11 year old Sharp Carousel that was in the Kitchen when we moved it. Sold it on C-list. Got this one as a closeout and thus as a very good deal.

No bells and whistles, just your average microwave and probably over priced because of the KitchenAid name. I chose this brand for a microwave because I had also ordered a KitchenAid range and I wanted them to match. It does have a heat sensor that will turn-on the vent/fan if your range is putting off a lot of heat while cooking, and will not turn off until it senses less heat. I like that as I'm assuming that it is a safety feature.

I purchased this unit because it was an OPEN BOX and priced HALF off original price. After getting it home, I realized it was missing parts for install and decided to take the time to read reviews. When I found how POORLY this unit rated overall, I brought it back for a better rated unit.

This is a simple microwave, plenty of settings, perfect for the simple user of warming leftovers, reheating coffee or making popcorn. I read all of the reviews--I figure those that review are just frustrated so I wanted to take the time and balance the ratings. If you're looking to cook in a microwave, then buy two models up with the convection.

I bought a kitchen aid over the range microwave about 2 years ago. I purchased a kitchen aid because of the higher quality. After only 2 years the mircrowave quit working and had to be replaced. I am very disappointed in the quality of appliances produced today. I also recently replaced a washing machine after 13 months of use. I would now purchased the lowest priced item because there all built the same way Junk!!!!!
