Replaced my old Frigidaire, which suddenly stopped working in five years. This one is bold and beautiful. Looks good and also functions well. Has a built in fan, which helps clear the odor after cooking. Has bright lights and multiple settings to do the necessary oven functionalities. Definitely worth buying.

I installed this KitchenAid microwave about 4 months ago and have been happy with it so far. It is very quiet, which was important to me. We don't cook with it, but the everyday things like food re-heat, butter soften, bake potato, cook bacon, all work very well with a little trial and error. I installed the unit myself, instructions not the best, and the mounting template was only good for getting measurements, because the edge of the template did not coincide with the printed measurements, so you could not just tape it up and go. A good chance I was the problem, but no big issues, just took some time. The unit is much larger than I expected, this is the 1st over-the-range unit I have owned. We almost took it back, glad we didn't. On sale for under four hundred dollars it was a great deal.

We've had this new microwave on for about 3 weeks. It is working well. We bought it because it had many good reviews. We hope it will last a long time. Our last "over the stove microwave" which was a GE installed on Sept. 2013, only lasted 8 years.

Great microwave, lots of nice little features and well worth the money

I recently wanted to share my experience with the KitchenAid microwave that I have owned for three years. Overall, it has served its purpose well. However, I encountered an unfortunate incident one morning when the handle completely cracked off while I was opening it to microwave something. Up until that point, the KitchenAid microwave had been functioning satisfactorily. It provided reliable performance, and I appreciated its sleek design and user-friendly controls. The microwave offered a good range of cooking options and power levels, allowing me to heat and defrost food with ease. Its capacity was suitable for my needs, accommodating various dish sizes. Unfortunately, the handle breaking off was a significant disappointment. The sudden damage was unexpected and inconvenient, as it affected the microwave's usability. I expected better durability from a reputable brand like KitchenAid, especially after only three years of use.

This is our second one of these. The 1st we had for a while and finally gave out. So we purchased the same one because we liked it so much.

Easy to navigate on website found what I was looking for

Bought this microwave because I needed a zero clearance door. One of the very few microwaves that are like this. (Meaning the door opens without extending past the width of the microwave body for applications either next to the wall or extra deep cabinets. It doesn't advertise this feature but it is.

We had this for less than a year and it won’t work. It thinks the door is open and it isn’t. It won’t work unless it thinks the door is shut, so it doesn’t work. The fan also never worked. I should have listened to the bad reviews about this stuff not working. They are living on their name. Disgraceful.

Great microwave. It has a rack in it that can be removed to accommodate taller items. It is also easy to keep clean.

I hate to do this, because I have loved KitchenAid forever. But their quality - and service response - has become horrid. I refurbed my kitchen, all with new KitchenAid appliances. First the range went out, just over the warranty period. After waiting more than 4 months for a replacement control panel, I called them, furious. Best they could offer was a 20% discount, ON A NEW RANGE. Now the microwave has phoned it in - open the door, and if the light doesn't come on, it doesn't recognize you want to cook something. I watched a YouTube video where a guy explained the main culprit is a series of sensors around the inside of the door - clean these up and it should run. And it did, for 2 cycles. Now kaput. For the money you spend, you should expect better quality, and a company that stands behind their products. No and no. I will gradually replace all of my KitchenAid appliances (something like a $12,000 outlay) with something else, likely Korean. My 10+ y/o Samsung washer and dryer still work flawlessly (knock on wood). Shame I can't commit to buying American, but when the option is crap I won't lose sleep. (I should note that I didn't buy this from BestBuy - looking for a replacement here.)

This microwave brings great ambience to your kitchen! Today, I heated up my leftover pizza by pressing the pizza button and was greeted with a song when it was ready. Happy with this purchase!
