We really like this fridge. It should be noted you can’t open the right crisper drawer all the way without opening both fridge doors. Fridge fit our space perfectly.

Great fridge, perishable foods seem to stay fresh much longer than with my old fridge. I very much like the interior filtered water but you have to hold the container for a few seconds after you're finished dispensing as the unit drips slightly.

This open box item was a perfect fit, and a hard one to find. It turns out the height without the door hinge was incorrect in the specs which is why I had ruled it out online shopping. The salesperson in South Bend pulled out as many models as I asked for and I had brought a tape measure with me, that’s how I found this one. I got Max capacity for my available space without compromising. After reading the negative review about the loose door handles, the salesperson at the store got out the tools and showed me how to tighten. The small dent is hidden behind counter, it was a great bargain! Hint: measure the length of door hinges if your constraint is height, it might clear your cabinet depth.

This fridge was the shallowest counter depth we could find which was important in our space. Shifting from a full depth to this took a bit of an adjustment but we now appreciate that nothing gets buried! Pros: Water dispenser works well, it's a bit tucked away but dispenses quick enough to fill a glass or water pitcher. The specs on the filter are really good. Ice bin fills quickly with clear, neutral tasting ice. The wide third drawer is awesome and holds a ton! Cons: Freezer drawer does not pull forward when freezer is opened. Some better fridges have that feature and it would be handy. Crisper drawers are a little flimsy.

No complaints about cooling level or ice maker function so far after four months. The shelf and door shelf arrangement can be a little tricky if you regularly buy tall items (I currently only have one spot where I can store an opened bottle of wine). The fridge is small, as it's a counter depth, but can still really store a lot. I'm only one person but entertain about once a week and have had no trouble fitting dishes and leftovers along with my usual items. The freezer is extremely small, though. I'm just one person but if you like to make batches of soups to freeze, or buy meat in bulk, you're gonna have trouble. With my kitchen layout the counter depth fridge was really the only option, so I'm fine with putting up with it and getting a chest freezer later. Overall it seems like a very quality fridge and I'm happy with it!

This refrigerator is very well-designed, and was able to fit in our kitchen! It fits against a wall, and alongside a granite counter. The doors open 180 degrees without swinging wide, so the door can open against a wall without hitting the wall. Also, the doors open about 225 degrees total, so it can go against a counter and not hit the granite! We actually purchased another refrigerator, but because of the hinges on the door, it would not fit into our kitchen - the door against the wall would not open and the door against the counter hit the granite! This refrigerator is well-designed for tight places. I love it!!!

I love this refrigerator. The counter depth makes the kitchen look bigger. The water is cold and clean. The shelf and door arrrangement hold a lot and are very convenient. The bottom freezer is easy to get to everything and holds sufficient for my family. Settings are visible and easy to adjust. The water filter was easy to install.

I’ve owned this for almost 9 months now and I wish I would’ve gone with a larger one. The counter depth looks great on the outside but is VERY narrow inside. We have a very slim opening in our kitchen and this fit well but is overall much smaller than a standard size refrigerator. It’s also noisier than our much older Samsung. Doors are not auto close and you have to physically push them closed even the last couple of inches. There is a door alarm but only for the French doors, not the freezer. The freezer sometimes stays open slightly and causes our food to defrost. If the food is pushed to the back of the refrigerator then it freezes. I’ve adjusted the temp up and down and it doesn’t help. Anything that is close to the back wall will freeze no matter the temperature setting. This is the biggest con of all. The ice maker is in the freezer and not auto-dispense, therefore you have to use your hands or a scoop to get ice and it takes up space in an already tiny freezer. One pro is that it does make ice very fast. The water is a little spout on the inside. Not smudge proof like my KitchenAid dishwasher and shows fingerprints very easily. Overall I am unimpressed by this model especially under the KitchenAid name. Would not purchase this again.

Best Buy was the only outlet in the Bay Area where we could find this fridge, which was the only one we wanted for our newly-remodeled kitchen (the unique handles were wife-approved). The buying experience in-store was very good; the price was good and the wait was just a couple of days. The installers were excellent and went out of their way to help get everything set up. We had limited space in our smaller kitchen yet this fridge fit perfectly (we were worried due to an adjacent wall). So far, a great fridge and a good Best Buy experience!

Love my Kitchen Aide Stainless steel Refrigerator I will need to remove my windowsill so it can fit in that corner. Will not trade it for anything.

This is a good refrigerator. Just big enough and the water dispenser inside the door is nice and doesn't take away from the nice stainless steel finish.

I have only had the frig for a couple of weeks. There are just a few things that are not a 5. In order to open the veg. drawer on the right, you have to open both doors because of the lip on the left door. I had a side by side and am adjusting to the bottom freezer which does not seem to hold nearly as much food. The water dispenser requires two hands which can be a tiny bit awkward. The frig it beautiful and I hope we are together for a long time.

I had my same side by side refrigerator for over 20 years. A Frigidaire and it still worked. However I moved and wanted a new one it was time. I love Kitchen Aid products so fell in love with the black stainless steel model. Only downside is a small freezer but I have a huge stand up freezer and a small freezer chest so that wasn’t an issue at all. I’m just hoping it runs forever like my previous brand name has.

I love this fridge, but we had to move a counter top to get it in because the wall isn't true and it's still a tight fit. I wish the makers would realize that 3/8" isn't enough leway to get it into a 36" opening, because houses aren't constructed as exactly as refrigerators are. Also, it's supposed to be fingerprint resistant and it's really not as good as my old KitchenAid and harder to clean

Purchased the refrigerator as part of kitchen remodel. I love the shelves. A place to store tall items if I need. I also like the shelves on the doors. They are designed to maximize storage.Food stays fresh 2 to 3 times longer than in my other refrigerator. The ice maker ice is a small slice ice cube. Water dispenser is a hidden gem and works perfect. It has all my bells and whistles and the quality is beyond my expectations. The refrigerator is so beautiful.

I’ve been looking at kitchenaid for years, but didn’t want the water dispenser on the outside I love that this has the water dispenser inside, and doesn’t take up any of the Available space in the fridge. This is counter depth, and I love the metal handles.

Love this fridge! Mainly because of the handle but also because I love that it is counter depth and sleek. I love that the water is on the inside and not outside. Very simple French door fridge. I don’t need all the bells and whistles cause those tend to break often.

It’s a cool looking fridge, just not very roomy but you can fit everything you need. The guys who delivered this fridge just dropped it off and didn’t adjust the height, so my fridge was bending and almost broke my new kitchen cabinets by pressing on them. It’s very loud, and this “feature” is very annoying. Also by the time it was delivered everything was wrapped in plastic and “secured” with panoply. I believe one of the shelves was bended and now when we pull the basket it squeaks and I am afraid to break it.

I AM A LOYAL KITCHEN AID BUYER. WE NEEDED TO UPGRADE TO A NEW FRIDGE AND FOUND THIS GREAT PRICE AT BEST BUY. IN A MONTH I BOUGHT THE RANGE AND THE FRIDGE BECAUSE OF THE GREAT OFFERS. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE BUYING THESE APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY BUT THEIR EXCELLENT SERVICE AND GREAT PRICES CONVINCED ME.
