We went with this refrigerator because it is wide and keeps the temperature in the unit within 1 degree of the setting you use.

The lights in the freezer and at the top of the refrigerator failed after 1 year. The warranty specifically states that it doesn't cover "Consumable parts (i.e. light bulbs)". LEDs should not be considered "consumables" as they should last for +30 years! LEDs that fail after 1 year mean that they were defective. Read the reviews on the KitchenAid website and you'll see that many others are having the same issue. This frig should be recalled because so many other people are having the same issue. Don't buy.

The guys removed the old unit and installed the new one in about 45 minutes. Simply amazing. They did a great job and I am extremely happy with the speed of service and delivery. My BlueBell is frozen solid!!!!

Maybe worst appliance I’ve ever purchased

Doors slam hard and loud despite repeated adjustments, ice maker arm is impossible to access, lower drawers constantly catch on the doors and at $9000, it should be perfect. Smaller, less expensive KitchenAid refrigerators I’ve owned in the past we’re far better. Actually, the 25 year old unit that this replaced was better.

Shelves in the door are constantly loose and despite having Best Buy come out and adjust the doors and leveling, they constantly slam and the brackets click and squeak. Apparently since it was ordered, not in stock, I’m stuck with it. https://blog.kitchenaid.com/
