This dish washer is very quiet. I have to feel the chaste to make sure it is running. Dishes are clean. Easy to load. Have not had it long enough to determine effect on my water bill

KitchenAid never disappoints! The KitchenAid dishwasher is easy to load. It has a top section that pulls out for sharp knives and other tools. It took us a while to get used to use in the top shelf. The dishes come out clean and the dishwasher is shiny and smells fresh. My one negative is the controls are on the very top therefore they slide under the kitchen counter. So, make your decisions press the buttons and immediately shut the door or your commands will disappear.

Love this new dishwasher! No more washing the dishes before putting in the dishwasher. It's quiet while running and has a notification bar on the front that says where it is in the cleaning cycle. So far have only had to use the Normal cycle and everything has turned out shiny clean.

I like this this washer for 3rd rack. The 3rd rack gives the extra space & very convenient. The dishes are done very clean & dry but doesn’t dry plastic containers well. The one thing I don’t like about it is it takes more than 3 hours to complete the cycles. But it’s super quiet.

Pros: quiet, cleans well, easy to use Cons: should have tried our dishes in it as it is different than our last so we have to figure how best to arrange. Our large cereal bowls seem to only fit well in the middle but then other things can't fit in great. things don't seem to dry completely, will have to try the extra dry setting next. A little expensive so was hoping for better.

This is a solid dishwasher that is both quiet and powerful. The design is sleek, and it is easy to get all of our dishes loaded. The only exception is tall glasses that are on the top rack. They get caught on the 3rd rack. With that being said. The 3rd rack is great, and the trade-off of not loading really tall glasses is worth it.

Only had installed for a couple of weeks. I am not sure that the 3rd basket will be used much. It is harder to pull out than the others & then limits room on the 1st & 2nd levels. Not worth it for daily use. VERY quiet. Washes great. Dries as good as all the newer DW. Don't really like controls on top of door. Also flatware basket has different sized slots, which can make loading a bit more time consuming. I just switched out the basket and used the one from my old DW.

This dishwasher holds a lot of dishes and does a great job cleaning them! We weren't sure what to think of the top (thin) rack but have found it is a really nice feature. And it is as close to silent as it could possibly be! We would definitely buy this model again.

Install went well. Dishwasher has a great look. Have run approximately 4 cycles since installed last week. So far it seems that it dries best on the highest dry cycle. Ran a quick wash the first time and dishes were clean but not dry. Not sure if we’ll leave top rack in place or remove it. My biggest complaint is the design of the bottom rack tines. Large plates must go in the section of rack closest to the dishwasher opening and when you go to roll the rack back in, the plates want to roll to the rear. This should have been designed the opposite way. Just need to be gentle rolling the bottom rack back in. So far, we are happy with the purchase. Quiet, cleans well, smooth rack guides and looks great. We replaced a more expensive 10 yr old Kenmore Elite which was made by Bosch.

Pros ...I'm often not sure if the machine is running. Does a great job on cleaning. Has a very nice look. Cons ...Our kitchen counters overhang too far for this design so the controls are hard to see. The shelves are a bit light duty for our stoneware dishes.

This is our second Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Previous unit was 17 years old. Never had a problem with that unit but the color no longer matched the rest of the kitchen as it was almond. The new stainless steel dishwasher is so quiet you have to look at the panel to see if it is working. We have only used the unit twice but so far cleans dishes well and again it is quiet.

It was time after 13+ years to get a new dishwasher. We had gotten used to 'pre-washing' before loading - but that is absolutely not needed with this dishwasher! The dishes were scraped but not even rinsed - and all came out perfectly clean, even a pan used to cook peppers and onions that had cooked-on gunk. And even better - I don't hear it! I didn't realize how loud the old one was until I walked into the kitchen and discovered this was so quiet I forgot it was on. I only knew because of the lights on the display panel. It isn't absolutely silent, but close enough. Love the 3rd rack - great for spatulas and flat beaters, and it can be removed if you need a little extra space in the top rack. The door does not just drop down when you open it, which caused hinge problems on our old one. A great mid-price dishwasher.

Amazing quiet dishwasher, we did lots of research before choosing this KitchenAid and it was worth the time. It looks great, and the space inside is way better then my old Maytag. The third rack is great for shallow things and knifes etc. would recommend this to anyone and the delivery and set up from Best Buy was easy.

I have only used my new Kitchen Aid dishwasher twice since it was delivered. The 2 times I washed my dishes they came out sparkling clean and I could barely hear it running unlike my previous Kitchen Aid. The stainless steel exterior is gorgeous and very stylish! I definitely would recommend this machine to a friend.

Did lot of research and even though lot of mixed review. so went with latest entry model and exceed our expectation silent (no noise) and clean well. compare to all other brands felt this one not having plastic arm or low quality material on tray.

solid dishwasher, came from a Samsung we had for 3 years and died. home warranty didn't want to fix, went with this model on sale Pres Day Sale, 100 less than the next model up only difference I could tell was sound level. well im not sure how quiet they can get cause this thing is silent to me... big plus with the wife and the kid well he could care less. really wanted the third rack really thought it was important MUST have 3rd rack well we have had it for 2+ weeks and never used it... oh well my wife says the soap dispenser did not open once, which was the precuser of the samsung going bad so will update if that truly becomes an issue

This dishwasher is so quiet, sometimes you don't know it's running. It has a large capacity and numerous wash and drying setting. Looks good, and the top control panel is easy to use. Excelent job of installation by the Best Buy Crew

I love this dshwasher. Very quiet, you hardly know that it is running. But the cycle is long.

The dishwasher is so quiet. We like how the racks are easy to slide into the dishwasher and the soap dispenser clicks so you know it is closed. Previous dishwashers were harder to slide into place coming off track and the soap dispenser was harder to secure closed where it sometimes came open where you tried to close it. This dishwasher is the quietest one we have owned. Another point was the Geek Squad Technician who installed the dishwasher was very knowledgeable and qualified in the installation so we have assurance that the job was done right.

Love the dishwasher. It is beautiful and cleans very well. Super quiet. Holds quite a bit and is easy to use. Would repurchase. The black stainless finish is fabulous.
