Loving this dishwasher so far. It does take an extremely long time to wash dishes just in normal mode, but evidently that is part of the water saving feature on the newer dishwashers. Does beep when finished and the light goes on that says Clean dishes. Have had a little trouble learning to load this dishwasher in the best way. It says that it will do 14 place settings, but I don't know how. Of course, I don't have a need for that many settings, but I have plenty of other dishes to fill it up. I like the water spraying from the back to hit the pans on the bottom shelf. The utensil holder seemed too long, but really has turned out to be really good. I didn't like the plastic lid on top (would be very convenient if you have a lot of small objects to wash such as bottle parts) so I just took the top off and it works great for all of my silverware. I have read several people's reviews before buying and it is true that the top drawer does roll out a little bit without even touching it. Doesn't really bother me, but I don't think it should do this. Another complaint was that the buttons were so easily pushed and the dishwasher starts without meaning to start it. This has happened to me once in the three weeks that I have had it installed, but was easy enough to stop. However, this dishwasher is so quiet that you may not even know that it started. Even when you are standing close to it, it is sometimes hard to tell that it is running. That part is awesome. The best part is that my dishes are finally clean, even the peanut butter jar. Don't forget to buy the hookup kit because it does not come with all the connections that you need. So a four-star rating because of a few flaws, but I would buy this dishwasher again.

I've had this dishwasher for a couple of months now and I love it. It does a great job and is super quiet. The only thing I don't like is how the bottom rack pulls out, it comes off the track easily, but easy to put back on track.

Very quite dishwasher and gets my dishes clean and completely dry! The fact that the handle doesn't stick out is such a clean sleek look and blends nicely against my kitchen cabinets. Tall tub and lots of options with the way too arrange the tub too personalize the load your washing. You will be very happy with this product!

The is the best dishwasher I have ever purchased. It is SO QUIET. I shopped for a long time for the best value, features and price and by far this is my dream come true. I like the no latch door and the tough scrub cycle as well. It comes with removable silverware baskets and it even has two revolving water blades to get all the dishes top and bottom clean. I also like the stainless steel door. The drying function is also a perk for me because it will beep to let you know it is done. You will not be disappointed in this wonderful product. I know I will brag on this gem for a while. Check it out and see for yourself.

We have had Whirlpool machines in the past with quiet packs. However, this machine far exceeds our expectations. The literature claims a 46 decibel output. The actual performance is far below 46 decibels. Cycle times are a bit lengthy.

Extremely quiet, large capacity, energy efficient, lots of utensil storage bins - glasses come out sparkling. Lights indicating progress of wash cycle are very bright - so if this is a concern you might consider a model with door top controls.

The Kitchenaid does everything and more. Dishes are always clean and dry. Sometimes the bottom of an indented glass may be damp. It is so quiet, we hardly know that it is running. The downfall is the upper rack. It rolls out half way upon opening the door. I have discovered that if there are dishes in the rack it will stay in. Love it and highly recommend it.

The cycle time is twice that of my previous dishwasher. I need to be sure to turn it on after dinner without delay, or the dishes won't be ready to put away before it's time for bed. It takes about 3 hours! I sure is quiet, though, I can hardly tell it's running except for the lights.

Very quiet and does a good job. Downside is that there is very little clearance between the second tier spinning sprayer and the top of the dishes on the first tier. You have to be overly careful when you load dishes.

This is the best dishwasher we have ever owned. It is so quiet, you can be standing right next to it and barely hear it running. We love all of the features of the Kitchenaid Dishwasher and when we move we are taking it with us!

The machine is great, quiet, cleans fairly well. The machine is leaning forward slightly causing the top rack to slide out every time you open the door. I need to have the installation corrected.

So happy with our new dishwasher! It is so quiet you need to see the lights on it to know its running! The dishes come out sparkling clean! The silverware comes out clean with the silverware holder. :)

This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. Excellent for open areas. I found it easy to use and does a great job at washing dishes. I love the adjustable top rack, came in handy when I had a variety of different sizes.

Our house has an open floor plan. With our old washer, we could never wash dishes while guests were present or while trying to watch TV as it was so loud. We bought this washer assuming it would be an improvement, but never expected it to be this much better. We just use the basic settings and it does a good job cleaning as well. Only complaints are - The mechanism for latching the door feels a bit cheap - It doesn't do a stellar job of drying

The dishwasher is fantastic. Can barely hear it running. Cleans dishes spotless. The dish racks have a lot of adjustability.

Bought this model because we wanted a built in heating element for drying. Could not be happier with ease of operation, how well it cleans, and how very quiet it is.

This thing is so quiet, if the lights weren't lit we wouldn't know it was on. The salesperson slightly overstated the cleaning power saying, "you won't have to pre-rinse the dishes", which we tried, with mixed results.Baked on stuff is still not cleaned, even in ProScrub Mode, but we kinda figured that. Our old unit was Kitchenaid as well and this is a huge improvement over that in terms of energy efficiency, noise and rack amenities. We like it!!

I purchased the item as a floor model from a local Best Buy. It had a slight defect on the panel, but it didn't interfer with the function of the machine. Both my husband and I were amazed at how quiet it was. You can barely hear the machine run even when you are in the kitchen. It cleans the dishes rather well. We have only had it a few months so I can not comment on its durability or reliabilty at this point in time. Since it was a floor model I got a very good price on it, otherwise the machine is slightly pricey.
