I love this dishwasher! I had switched to a Bosch because everyone raves about that brand. However, KitchenAid dishwashers hold more dishes. It's quiet and cleans well. Mostly tho, I love the large capacity loads.

I really like this dishwasher. I do not like appliance shopping at all and was dreading it when my old one was on it's last legs and making horrible sounds.
The shopping experience at Best Buy is always great. No pressure. Just information. I need to see the appliance for myself and no comfortable with on line shopping on this type of large purchase. It also helps to keep my local store in business.
Great dishwasher. So quiet. I didn't know that I needed the extra level up top that is more like a slide out tray for those awkwardly long utensils, special spoons, gadgets, etc. It's a little more gentle up top, for those special items. I just really, really like this one. Made in America too. All good.

First time using kitchen aid appliances, great design, easy to use and program, dishes are cleaned and sanitized in reasonable amount of time. If takes a few meals to fill up just use the rinse function in between

Not the unit I originally was looking for, but the front controls are not as bad as I thought. It is very quiet, but some cycles are noisier than others. I like the third rack for silverware, however the placement of the silverware takes a bit of care to line items up properly and fit them in the spaces at the right angles. That being said, the third rack is much better for cleaning than the standup baskets. This unit also has a stand up basket on the lower rack, but it is removable. I usually take it out to give myself more room for bowls and dishes. The tines on this model are nicely spaced, so the dishes are not on top of each other. My dishes have deep edges, so I need the wider tines. This dishwasher does not tell you when you need to add rinse aid; you have to check the little window and figure that out yourself. It also does not remind you to clean the filter, so you need to check that every two months or so. It uses very little water. The installer recommended running the hot water in the sink to have it ready before starting the machine, so it won’t have to work so hard to heat the water for cleaning…interesting, ut easy to forget to do.

I cannot believe how quiet this dishwasher is. It looks great and is easy to use. There is so much room inside. Dishes come out very clean. If you take plastics out too soon, there may still be water but if you allow it to finish drying all the way, it is the best with drying dishes.

Excellent dishwasher. Very quiet and gets dishes very clean. Recommend using the rinse aid as it helps dry out the dishwasher after cycle. For the first dozen washes, water condensate remained in the dishwasher after the cycle was complete, but now everything is nice and dry after a wash. I usually use the extended dry option. Wash and dry cycle takes quite a while, but that is not a concern for us as I wash dishes overnight. Very happy with the product.

Love, love, love this dishwasher! Plenty of room inside, great silverware holder, does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes. I like the control panel on the front, it is easy to see annd monitor what stage the dishwasher is in the cleaning process. And this dishwasher is so quiet you won’t believe it is running. Seriously! Amazing!

Love this dishwasher. It is silent. It cleans well, It looks great.
It has lots of room and is even kind of fast. The real treat is it is almost dead silent, We have an open floorplan so the noise level of the dishwasher is important to us. With this KitchenAid, you barely know it is running. We have had other brands before and this one is the best.

I don't need a dishwasher that irons my newspaper and does my taxes; I need a dishwasher that washes and dries my dishes. This KitchenAid appears to do that quite well, though I have had it only about 1 month. The silverware basket on the bottom rack was loose when it arrived--inexplicably, it wasn't attached to anything. I secured it in place with a zip tie so it would not move around during the cycle. Others have complained that the door opening mechanism is stiff, and I agree. The racks feel lighter-weight and flimsier than my parents' Bosch dishwasher's racks. BUT: it appears to clean my dishes quite well, and dry them adequately also. And at the end of the day, that is what matters to me most.

I absolutely love this Dishwasher. You do not even know which running. Quiet does the job. Worth the money would highly recommend. I have family who has dishwashers that they do not use because they do not work. If you’re gonna buy a dishwasher buy one that does work like this one .

e moved into a new home and the dishwasher was so loud we couldn't have a conversation at the dinner table.
We purchased KitchenAid Model:
KDFE204KPS with a 39 dBA rating.
This dishwasher is so quiet you'd never know it's on.

I purchased this dishwasher about 2 weeks ago. So far, I am very pleased with the performance. My dishes come out very clean. Some of the plastic dishes still have a little water that needs to be wiped off but I would rather do that than use the extra heat cycle. I read several reviews where people complained about the noise level, wasn't as quiet as they expected. Compared to my old dishwasher, this machine is super quiet. I do hear the water entering and draining and occasionally hear a swoosh sound as the dishwasher is washing, but only if I am standing right by the machine. Meets all my expectations from a KitchenAid dishwasher. I did purchase the Best Buy extended warranty for the 5 year period.
