This is a wonderful Dishwasher! It is so quiet I have to look to see if it is running. It cleans very well with all levels of left on food etc... We love the adjustments to the upper rack and the 3 rack for silverware and utensils.

We've had this dishwasher for about 3 months, and it does a great job getting the dishes clean. The third row is really handy for knives, and other slim items. The only complaint I have is that the dishes are always pretty wet at the end of the cycle (even when using the prolonged heat dry cycle). My previous dishwasher was pretty old, and near the end did a poor job washing, but dishes came out pretty much dry even when not using the heat dry cycle. Not sure what the structural difference is, but I've taken to just wiping dishes as I put them away, and it's fine.

Our dishwasher was 12 yrs old when it stopped cleaning well. Repair it??? We chose to replace it due to its age. So, we shopped and researched, and chose this one. The installer arrived and was here for hours, then left saying he was done. Huh? We looked and saw the DW installed on an angle, unbalanced, and dented. Even the cabinet door next to the DW was scratched! The DW door wouldn’t open or close cleanly. We immediately called Best Buy, and they agreed to replace it. 4 days later, a very nice guy installed a new unit, did a terrific job, showed us how it worked, and left us fully delighted. This DW is wonderful, and so so quiet!

I wanted to upgrade my dishwasher and this was the next step up. I was excited about the third rack but I find that taller items do not fit on the 2nd rack as well as not having the rack. The dishwasher works well and seems to be nice and clean.

This dishwasher was purchased after doing a fair bit of research, reading reviews, etc. The silverware was almost never fully clean when the cycle was done, even on the highest setting. The other issue was the third rack. I did not realize what a complete waste it was until I tried to put items in. Literally nothing but completely flat items fit (like a Tupperware lid or a flat bread knife). Given those two issues, I ended up returning it to Best Buy and just got the Bosch 800 Series with the MyWay third rack installed yesterday. Only ran that once so I don't want to praise it too much yet. But, I can say for sure that the third rack on the Bosch is so much more useful than the KitchenAid. It fit every conceivable item I could find! I want to let everyone know how great Best Buy was with the return. I anticipated being given a hard time but my experience was just the opposite. It helped that I didn't wait too long (10 days). The process was simple, the sales associate just refunded the entire order and started over with a new order. The KitchenAid was uninstalled and the Bosch was installed two days later. What a relief to not have to live with something that really wasn't working out, especially such an expensive item! Thank you, Best Buy!

Great dishwasher. Love the fan option of blowing air for dryer dishes at completion versus just a heating element which never seems to work. Cleans great and has plenty of room.

At first, I noticed some dishes in the top rack didn’t get clean. Also the drying was not what I expected, with many dishes still wet after the cycle. I read more of the owner’s manual, and found that including the power dry cycle took care of that problem. And the upper rack dishes now seem always to get clean, including the top rack only cycle.

This dishwasher is great. It cleans and dries perfectly. The racks adjust to fit various size cups, plates, pans, etc. plus The only way you know it’s running is by the blue light.

I bought this dishwasher to match my other KitchenAid appliances. I do love the finish. At first it did not seem to really get my dishes clean but somehow that self corrected. I'm doing nothing differently but very seldom now does a dish not come totally clean. I think it has to do with my next concern: the odor in the dishwasher is terrible. And pieces of food are always in the bottom of the machine and around the little basket that has to be cleaned pretty much every time I use the dishwasher. I have never ever had this issue with any other dishwasher I've had. I gave my perfectly good 7 year old Kenmore away when I bought this (it didn't match the other appliances). and I'm so sorry I did because I'd rather have a mismatch than this issue. I called KitchenAid and they don't have a reason this is happening...but there is not a food processor in this (or any KitchenAid models as far as I can see). I just assumed there was one -- I mean why not in this day and age. I am a very clean person and it is just my husband and I. I don't have a bunch of people around to misuse the dishwasher -- I constantly wipe the sides and am removing food. But the odor is the worst.

At first I was reluctant to spend the money on this dishwasher, but after having it for a couple months I couldn’t be happier. If your family is the type that has to run the dishwasher every night then you’ll love this machine. No need to prewash your dishes or rinse them off prior to running the machine if you run it every night. We don’t use that many dishes everyday so I still rinse most food particles off, but the dishwasher handles everything else just fine.

Except for an occasional gurgle in the drain no one can hear the dishwasher running yet everything comes out spotless

Much more quiet than our old dishwasher. Especially like the third rack for long cooking utensils, adjustable shelves, and heated dry cycle.

After getting a good explanation of all the different machines we chose the KitchenAide. We can't even hear when is is running. Incredible product.

Purchased over 2 years ago and experienced a major leak under unit so didn’t realize until wood floor started to show signs. Destroyed floor. Unit repaired. Now water leak from front door and apparently started out small and we didn’t notice but now see a big puddle every morning on wood floor. Insulation on door saturated and drips out. Service coming today. We want to trash as we have no confidence in this brand/unit and afraid will leak and again destroy wood floor. When it holds its water works great. Will fix since have extended warranty and decide if we change out.

A replacement for a 10 year old Kitchen Aid. This is a wonderful machine,very quiet. Gets dishes very clean without scraping. Looks great.

This is a newer version of the one I had for about 8 years. That one was well-used and would have kept on going if the electronic control panel hadn't failed due to its being flexed every time the door was opened. This new model has the controls on the top of the door, eliminating that problem. Also, the addition of the removable low-profile rack adds to its capacity.

Replaced Samsung dishwasher. Third rack is a nice feature.Heated dry was a must for us also. Best Buy price matched from sale at sears. Made in America!

Solid unit, thoughtful features, does an excellent job cleaning and decent job of drying. More than anything, we like how quiet it is
