Many appreciate its sleek design and roomy interior, noting the improved appearance over expectations. Quietest Dishwasher Ever!

We purchased this Kitchenaid Dishwasher when we upgraded all of our appliances to stainless steel. Our old dishwasher was 15 or more years old so this was a definite improvement. Until we ran this one for the first time, we didn't realize just how loud our old one was. Unless the dishwasher is draining, we never even know that it's running. It's very spacious with plenty of room for lots of dishes. We especially like that the top rack can be lowered for taller glasses. We also like the LED light that is blue when it's running, red when it's on dry cycle and clear when the dishwasher has finished.

Nice looking and quiet. Had it for a couple of weeks now. It dies a good job. It has heat dry, a plus, considering many other brands don't offer it any more. I got a free installation as part of a promotion, so a good value overall

The dishwasher is very quite and cleans well. However, there are 2 issues. 1) It is impossible to keep the exterior stainless steel surface clean. We have used just about every cleaning method available and it still has water and other spots that cannot be removed. My last resort is to buy polish and a buffing pad to attach to my electric drill. Any body have any recommendations before I buy the buffing pad/polish? Thanks 2) Occasionally the dishwasher develops a rotten odor. This usually goes away after several uses or if it persists, we use bleach. I have looked for food scraps stuck in the filter, but it is always clean. Can live with this issue, but our prior dishwasher did not have this problem.

Our Bosch dishwasher died after 13 years of loving use - yes, I did grow fond of my old dishwasher with a family of 5! I thought I was set on buying another Bosch, until I researched other brands and finally settled on the Kitchenaid. Wow!!! What can I say? It is QUIETER than my old Bosch, which I never expected at all. I purchased this dishwasher because it was solidly made with a stainless steel tub inside and had adjustable racks, hidden controls, but most importantly it has the heating element that a lot of dishwashers don't have as they tend to rely on the rinse agent and hot water temp. You still need to use rinse agent in this one, but the dishes just come out so dry which is awesome! The stainless steel and appearance is another factor that sold me on this which I am so very happy with. The handle is similar to the professional cooking ranges like Jennair or Viking and it has such a sleek look. Did I say it is QUIET? I love the blue light that shows the dishwasher is running. The utensil holder takes a little getting used to to load all the silverware in the different sized holes, but once I figured out you can take the cover off or slide it the side, that solved that. Made in the USA was another factor I loved. Overall, I am just so happy with the dishwasher; dirty dishes come out so clean and dry, loading is easy with the adjustable racks and the price was terrific with FREE installation from Best Buy which was awesome and scheduled and completed within 1 week from my purchase! It doesn't get better than that.

    Does it's job well

I purchased this as a closeout item. It had been returned by another customer and was deeply discounted. I was worried that it may have issues with performance that led to it's return, but thankfully that isn't the case. This does a fantastic job! The kids never bother to rinse dishes (which drives me nuts) but somehow they always come out clean and even the plastic kids dishes on the top rack come out bone dry. I just have to make sure to keep the rinse agent topped off and clean the filter every couple/few weeks to remove the debris that they refuse to rinse off. Cons: The door is a little flimsy. If the front feet are not adjusted perfectly, the door will not close properly. Once I got them adjusted right, it closes fine but I suspect that the door will probably be a failure point in the future. Technically, it's not a con since all the new dishwashers seem to take forever, but this does take it's sweet time. I suppose the trade off is that this thing is very quiet... I used to start the dishwasher when we went to bed since it was so loud. This thing can be running and you can sit 20 feet away and not know it's running. I also kind of hate the led on the front. I like that it changes color to indicate the state it's in, but that stupid little led is WAY too bright.

After our Kenmore Elite dishwasher only lasted a couple years even though I did a lot of research prior to buying this Kitchenaid dishwasher. So when it came to replacing it I looked at everything, even how well the racks slide in and out. The most impressive part is how quiet it is. When it is running I can hardly tell it is on. As far as cleaning if you rinse the dishes before loading them it cleans them very well. I would certainly recommend this dishwasher at this time. We will see after a couple years of use.

Purchased this to replace a Kitchen Aid previous model which I absolutely loved. Love this one just as much. Kitchen Aid is one of the few brands that still offers the coil dry heat element. Other dishwashers require an additional rinse aid to dry. Although this washer has that as an option it is not needed to dry since it uses the heating coil.

We have had this dishwasher for a year now. I must say it's been great to us. Washes really well. Super quiet. My husband always manages to open it while it's running because it's too quiet haha. However it does have a light on the front to let you know it's running. The only time you hear it, is when the water is draining into the sink. The dishes always come out very clean and sparkling. Only down side is you have to use the cascade platinum pods and the liquid. It's all good, worth it for this gem.

This is what I expected from the reviews I've read. It does a very good job of cleaning dishes quietly and looks nice while doing it. There was an install issue that was handled professionally and although it was a bit of an inconvenience, I can easily overlook the human error because we all make mistakes. Oh, the install issue was power loosely connected.

This dishwasher is absolutely amazing. It does a great job of taking off caked on food It also looks absolutely amazing / classy. It has a definite heavy duty feel and its very easy to use / operate. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking for a solid machine that can clean and look good doing it. It's also VERY quiet.

The dishwasher is good at cleaning the dishes but the top rack falls down sometimes because of the weight of the dishes it should not do this and I wonder if its a defective dishwasher it doesn't do it all the time otherwhise it's quiet and is the best in the price range bought it for under 600$$ good price

Found this item as a open box discount $590 after taxes. My old unit was a 1980's model kitchen aid, still worked but age was starting to show and I know it wasn't energy efficient. This new kitchen aid works great, very quiet, energy efficient and most importantly the dishes come out outstanding. I used another soap and it wasn't as good. Used the recommended soap and BOOM, 100% clean dishes and the dry heat feature leaves them spotless.

This is truly a quality unit. My wife and I have been putting our dishes in the racks not rinsed. To my surprise we have not unloaded a dirty dish. This unit is also very quiet. I guess the bottom line is, you get what you pay for. I'm glad we spent extra money.

The first thing I noticed was how quiet this washer is, but compared to what we had before anything would be an improvement. The hidden controls are arranged logically and are easy to understand and the racks are functional. It dries very well with the use of Jet Dry, but if you don't use Jet Dry then not so much. Seems to be a solid performer and would recommend.

I read the reviews before purchasing, and this model had a LOT of reviews, the majority of them positive. I like the fact that the interior is stainless and it's energy star rated. It does take a long time to run a cycle, but that is due to the water saving / energy efficiency. So far I'm very happy with the way it cleans and the way the silverware sorter separates each piece. Would recommend.

This unit surpasses my expectations, I replaced a frigidaire unit and this unit is quiet, efficient, and cleans better. It does have a handle on the door which my other unit did not it was a indented grab handle so make sure if you have drawers that might be blocked by the handle to look at this as I had one, but I just open the door to access the drawers.. the trade up was worth it!!
