Finally upgraded our kitchen and this was one of the 4 appliances we purchased. IT works great, keeps everything super cool and is relatively quiet. Not sure why people say it's really noisy, but i suppose if you sit right next to it, you might think that.

It is going to be a challenge to keep clean. Magnets will stick. Great interior lighting. Have enjoyed the measure fill option for water dispensing tracking fluid ounces. Has a sabbath function feature. Shelving arrangement has been an adjustment for my family. Very pleased thus far.

After shopping for a large stainless side-by-side, we opted for this upscale model after finding it on sale at BestBuy. It's the same basic unit as the Whirlpool models, but the Kitchenaid has much nicer shelves and drawers rimmed with stainless. Love the freezer drawers and the LED lighting! The freezer has a lot of usable space because the icemaker is in the door. The only downside is that the icemaker is small and doesn't mesh very well with the dispenser mechanism. After the first week, we had only a few pitiful pieces of ice, but a technician discovered that the water line leading through the freezer door to the icemaker was folded, reducing the water flow to a trickle. After straightening the water line, the icemaker is working as expected, although the water line was damaged enough to warrant replacement. Other reviewers have complained that this unit is noisy, but the operation is actually very quiet. The noise of ice falling into the bin doesn't bother me. All in all, we're pleased with the refrigerator so far (after 2.5 weeks) and it looks great.

It is a very nice refrigerator. I like the LED lighting system. I like everything about this refrigerator except the drawers. The drawers are made of some very cheap quality material. These drawers are easily breakable.
