BEST BUY NEVER DELIVERED A NEW HOOD AS PROMISED. MANY DELIVERY DATES WERE NOT HONORED BY BEST BUY WITH NO REASONABLE EXPLANATION GIVEN. SHOUT OUT TO LOWES FOR MEETING OUR NEEDS WITH PRACTICALLY ZERO TURN AROUND TIME.

Good cooking ventilation when vented outside. I have not tried the product without external ventilation.

purchased this a year ago, its mounted but not installed. manual clearly instructs you to attach the air diverter to a spacer plate located on top of the hood... our unit had no such spacer included in packaging and kitchenaid doesn't have a part number for the mysterious spacer plate drawn out on their diagram. i've spent many several hour long customer service calls trying to get an answer. right now we have a $900 stainless steel ornament hanging in our kitchen and a customer service department that doesn't have a clue.

Works well - quiet at lower fan speeds

This works pretty well, I fry food and cook at high heats so it might get more of a workout than in some other kitchens. I have windows next to it - it could be stronger but the design is stunning and it does the job well enough, wouldn't be good without a window nearby.
