Replaced a white whirlpool microwave and white trim kit. Kit was easy to install as the instructions were very clear on what to do. Microwave mounts nicely to the brackets and the trim fits perfectly around the edge to complete the look. One noticeable difference is this trim is plastic vs my old one is metal. I would prefer the metal because it is easier to clean without scratching. On this one you HAVE to use a microfiber towel other a regular towel will leave light scratch marks.

The frame's width and height did not fit the dimensions of the micowave. The base of the trim kit that the microwave sits on did not match the base of my microwave. I returned the trim kit to the store and ended up using the trim kit that came with my old microwave.

It is very easy to install. The frame is a simple gloss black all the way around, matching the finish of the black microwave I used in it.

Installers unable to use
