Black top has to be dusted every day. Reminds me a lot of a black car. Looks sleek and stylish clean but not so much not cleans I am a little OCD in clean and tidy dept. Do enjoy the function of it. Very pleased with the product. Since whirlpool manufactures jenn air and kitchen aid opted to go with less expensive kitchen aid down draft and matching appliances in our remodel.

After checking all possibilities, this was the best choice. Top is easily cleaned. Dual range elements work for any size pan. The cook time and heating choices work great for all needs. And the down draft venting works fantastic. The only complaint found is the fan on high speed is loud.
