My wife, who is under 5' tall, does not like the additional height of the top of the surface making her arms closer to the heat and making it more difficult to reach into pots and stir. Next she would prefer the control knobs to be in the center. There should be a removable solid cover for the down draft so that food does not fall into the narrowing space created by the mesh cover where debris is very difficult to reach, particularly if the cook is short. We like the varied burner sizes and the ease of controlling the amount of flame. I would recommend it for a tall family

Could not be happier with this purchase. Installation was breeze. Everything works perfectly. Draft motor is noticeably quieter than old cooktop.

I like the flame on this stove top. It turns on quietly and effectively. It does not blast the flame when you initially turn it on like some gas tops. The down draft makes the flame turn toward the draft, which can be a problem when you have a few burners going. I always put the draft on low for that reason. I had no choice for the draft because I do not have a hood, so I will live with that small issue with no problem. I have owned this for 6 weeks.

This is a very nice gas cooktop for a new / newly remodeled kitchen. Easily installed and man does that downdraft vent fan pull on it’s high setting- good visual indicator of its power when you can see the flames bend toward the vent when the fan is cranked up. Easy maintenance/ cleanup design, well thought out burner and control placement.

A great replacement for our Jennair cooktop. One more burner. Looks great and performs as promised.

I needed to replace an old JennAir stovetop and had my heart set on this KitchenAid,.... The fantastic installation expert that came and installed my new dishwasher told me exactly how he could make this work for me! I ordered immediately, and requested him to install! Have loved it everytime I have used it so far! Easy clean up too!

We switched from an almost 20 year old JennAir cooktop that we loved but was slowly dying. Due to the layout of our kitchen, downdraft is the only option. This cooktop looks great and the burner sizes are excellent. My only complaint and it's a big one is the downdraft is poorly designed and pulls the flame towards it. We never had this issue with our old JennAir. Unfortunately, because of how the flame is pulled, everything takes a little longer to cook. We compensate by cooking at a higher flame, but still have to deal with uneven cooking because the flame is being pulled to one side. Very disappointing, because this and the almost identical JennAir are pretty much the only options in the market for downdraft cooktops.

Replaced my 20 yr old glass top stove. Needed a downdraft stove-which limits choices. Found this one and liked it. now that it is installed, I really like it. Burners are well placed and versatile. Controls are convenient. looks great. Works nicely.

Wonderful five burner gas stove replacement to my old four burner that was the original kitchen appliance. The vent is downward but is much stronger pull than the old model. This model enhanced the appeal of my kitchen. I'm happy about the replacement and wish I updated sooner.

We needed to replace an old cooktop with telescoping fan, and this was the only one that fit the hole. Given that, we are very happy with the burners. It is easy to use, the vent in the middle has massive sucking power in the right place, and it is not harder to clean than other gas stoves. Purchase this with confidence.
