This absolutely raised our cookie game. My daughter went from a non-cook to a cottage baker in less than a year. The lift mixer takes up less room on the counter because the lid does not tilt back. It is powerful, efficient and a true daily use appliance. The color is beautiful It is easy to clean and it does not show spots. Overall, the best gift that I have probably ever given to my daughter. Very powerful, it hasn't had a problem with anything I've made in it, even making bread was easy for it to handle. The half speed setting is AMAZING for mixing ingredients slowly so nothing spills, it's very heavy and high quality, the bowl is very big and it makes it easy to make large batches of things. Highly recremend this kitchen aid if you make a lot of different food or bake, it makes everything way more fun and easier

I would be the proud owner of a kitchenaid mixer. Who woulda thunk it? It is literally one of the best purchases I have made in my adult life. Need to shred some chicken, BAM! We got it! Need to mix some dough, BAM! We got it! Need to make some cookies without killing your old hand mixer, BAM! We got it! Need to make some homemade brats, BAM! We got it! This thing is a BEAST & if you were looking to invest into a standmixer this bad boy is for you! It’s quite LITERALLY my favorite kitchen tool so far. Excellent mixer - don't go with an imitation - you'll miss out on the high-quality that a KitchenAid offers. This 5.5 Bowl-Lift with a dough hook easily handled a double-loaf batch of bread. I will say that the flat beater blade chipped on the first use (making a batch of cookies), and you can't return just the damaged part under the returns option, so I may check on the warranty to see if they will replace it. However, I hear from friends that the covered blade that comes with the mixer chipped for them as well, so that's a bit of a design flaw. I am purchasing separately a stainless-steel flat beater blade to replace it so that chipping won't be an option. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Advice: go ahead and get the KitchenAid, but plan to purchase the stainless beater blade.

I love the mixer, its the best I’ve gotten so far and I like the design and the weight is just perfect

Purchased as a gift for our son. The lift handle was loose inside and would not lift the bowl. A return wasn’t really possible since it got sent out of state. Luckily he is mechanically blessed and repaired it himself. Machine now worts perfect and being enjoyed. Not the first Kitchen Aid mixer purchased. They are great machines. This one just slipped past quality control.

I have wanted a Kitchenaid stand mixer for so so long, but I couldn’t bring myself to pay full price for it. When I saw the sale at Best Buy, I decided now is the time! So, happy birthday to me :-) I am super excited that I finally have one and have been enjoying it how wonderful it is. I don’t like a lot of clutter on my countertops and countertop space is at a premium, so I was not going to leave it on the counter. Even though I did the read the reviews and read how heavy it was, I thought that I could still manage to pull it out of my cabinet every time I wanted to use it. Ultimately I decided to leave it out because it is rather heavy and lifting it out of the cabinet every time I wanted to use it was not very practical. I think the weight of it speaks to its quality that it is definitely well made and sturdy. But why not display the top-of-the-line mixer that it is on my counter for my enjoyment?

This is such a great mixer that loves up to its reputation. My daughter wanted one for years and i got it when i saw it on sale. She was thrilled! Sturdy, consistent power (tork?), looks good!

Best Buy was running a special at the right time for this mixer. I was looking to upgrade from a smaller kitchenAid Mixer, and this made the most sense. I have made thousands of cookies using this mixer, and it works just as well as it has done sense day one! The only issue is that it shakes when at a high speed.

Wow, what a game changer. This was a gift for Christmas and I knew I wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer but didn’t realize this was this was just the right one! It sites perfectly under the counter and the bowl adjusts up and down to remove it! So the mixer always sits out to see!! The red is also just a rich color that it’s stands out among the other appliances and decor. It has several attachments and perfect for our large family! We are specifically buying a handful of the attachments so we can learn how to make our own pasta and what not! Excited to each the kids and finally have the legendary Kitchen Aid sitting on my counter tops!!
