I bought this stove about 7 months ago and have been very happy with it. It is beautiful to look at and performs well. I am still learning all the features. I did notice that the timer sometimes doesn't work as expected. It will get stuck on calculating and not register. The stove feels like quality materials except for the bottom drawer. It feels a little chintzy.
FYI, this stove and matching microwave pull a lot of power. On thanksgiving I was using the stove and microwave at the same time and kept blowing a fuse. I called out an electrician and at first he thought something was wrong with stove as he couldn't imagine the stove blowing a fuse since it is gas but after he used his meter thingy, he was very surprised how much power this stove and the matching microwave pull. I had to have another line run for each appliance to run on their own.

The Kitchenaid stove compliments my kitchen, especially considering I purchased all Kitchenaid appliances. The stove works amazing, and the convection oven is fantastic as well! Im not. big fan of the stove top grate and cleaning can be cumbersome after time. However, I would recommend the stove to anyone who is looking for a decently priced high end stove. After all, if you want to keep it nice, you're going to be cleaning it.

This range oven has been great. The screen can sometimes be triggere very easily if food or water splashes on it by accident, but the screen lock helps minimiza that. I love how easy it is to clean and the steam tray is amazing for great crusty loafs of brea. I will definitely contemplate getting another one in the future.

We love our new stove. This is our second kitchenaid range, first purchased in our previous home 12 years ago. Sleek design and powerful burners. We needed a spacer kit (available through kitchenaid) to fill the gap between rear and wall. Only complaint is there is no real "self-clean" feature, "aqua-lift" self clean does not compare. Overall pleased.

This is a beautiful slide-in range. But, there are a few caveats to be aware of. First, there is no user’s manual…or, what the company “calls” a user’s manual is a useless piece of paper. (Very different from the very helpful booklet I received with the first Kitchenaid range I purchased 20_ years ago.)
Second, the convection oven doesn’t work well, or I haven’t figured out how to use it correctly. But I would never know because there is no usable user’s manual! I have baked cookies three times through the convection oven and each time, it took three times the recipe’s stated time to get them baked,
I called Kitchenaid and the help by phone was quite poor.
I still don’t know what the problem is — user error, range error, calibration error? In other words, the help on the phone was no help at all.
I’m sure I’ll be able to figure things out (even with the poor Kitchenaid service) but I’m not sure how…
The range is nice and easy to clean and the fifth burner is going to be very useful.
The crew that delivered the range was quick and efficient, And Manuel, from Best Buy/Pacific Sales was a godsend.
Once I figure out the convection disaster, I’m sure I’ll be happy. Until then…

This range is perfection! Easy to clean, heats evenly and the convection conversion is an awesome addition. Our kids favorite fish sticks no longer stick to the bottom of the pan while the top is mildly crispy... they cook evenly crisp all around. Wish I would have purchased this sooner.

Very nice finish and really like how easy it is to clean the stovetop by removing the two grills. Control panel is pretty logic and easy to use, but, since it is horizontal and placed directly in front to the burners it gets loads of grease splatters. Having said that, it is pretty easy to clean up given that there are no knobs to fuss with. Overall pretty happy with it and have had no problems

We have been wanting a gas range ever since we purchased our home. This one does not disappoint. I did a ton of research before purchasing, especially since we were trying to buy an entire matching suite of appliances. We wanted everything to be top notch. This range pre-heats quickly, is easy to clean and easy to use. It the range works great and the oven has both standard and convection options (both work great). The black stainless is absolutely stunning - just make sure you use a soft cloth when cleaning to avoid damaging the surface and don't use stainless steel cleaner it is to abrasive. Overall I can't recommend this oven enough. You will love cooking with it.
I would recommend this to a friend

I’ve had this stove for 2+ years now. Still works perfectly. No complaints. Looks great too. Never had trouble with it. Just took the pics so you can see after using it 5 times a week for 2+ years it still looks great.

My wife does most of the cooking, so I am not really qualified to rate this gas range. That's why I gave it 4 stars. However, my wife likes it and says it works well so I recommend it. I like the stainless steel front and handles and the fact that the display is on top and up front; also it is easy to move in and out for cleaning behind or accessing the hood vent. I thought it would be heavier; so yes we are happy with it. For the price, maybe it deserves 5 stars.

Do not hesitate to purchase this range. It highly exceeded all my expectations. First of all this oven is amazing and does not heat up my kitchen at all, as my old one did. That was a first HUGE plus for me. It is well made - extremely well. Quiet, well insulated and high end. Secondly, I can easily fit big oversized pots back to back where I could not do that on my old congested Samsung stove. It is super easy to use and the control panel is colorful and beautiful and easy to clean without it being overly sensitive when you wipe it and start turning on everything. The oven is very roomy and so well lit. Have not tried the steam feature yet so cannot comment on that. The bottom storage drawer is roomy as well. It is elegant and eye-catching and everything you could ask for. My only complaint is that it does not come with a user's manual - you have to print that off line. I am soooooo glad I paid a little more and went with this high end model - worth every penny and I got it on a great sale.

This range will make anyone a better cook. With its 5 burners of 4 sizes and a huge oven with 3 racks it meets everyone's needs to prepare great meals. The porcelain cooktop cleans us easily. The electronic oven controls automatically converts bake temperatures for its convection oven. As an accomplished cook, I am very happy with this range. Also Kitchenaid even provides a free trim kit for this slide-in range.

This is a very nice stove and is a huge upgrade over our old GE. We love the features of it and the burners are great, we can actually simmer food now without the burner going out. The only thing that stinks is the timer, it took some getting use to it as we would constantly change the oven temp. The timer only beeps once which I do not understand as it should constantly beep until you turn it off or add more time. Other than the timer issue, it is a great stove.

I purchased the the range as part of a remodel (for which I purchased ALL the kitchen Aid line- Microwave,Fridge, dishwasher, and range. I likewise purchased the extended warranties to accompany each unit. The unit (range) has been nothing but a headache from day one. The electronics panel is located directly in front of the two highest BTU burners on the unit. It has been replaced no less than 3 times in the first 2 years. I now have learned to use the weaker burners in the back, because I can’t lose time from work to have it serviced. The real issue, however, is the oven. Kitchen Aid markets it as being self cleaning. Well- it doesn’t. I spent the first couple years running the steam-lift and clean cycle repeatedly to try to get it clean. I finally got frustrated and bought a can of oven cleaner. The results have been horrific. The enamel coating is so thin, that plain-old oven cleaner bleached it out, and its as though it was never there. The Geek squad sent someone to address the problem, but can’t do anything because its cosmetic and doesn’t impede function. There should be a class-action lawsuit against Kitchen Aid for manufacturing something so cheaply that using an everyday household product on it damages a range that was over $2,000. To buy. NEVER AGAIN!

Beautiful, nothing special

This oven looks nice but is nothing special. The oven makes a clicking sound while its on like its trying to ignite again. Several times we've used a probe and the oven temperature is over 20 degrees lower than the set temperature. The door is fairly heavy which isn't a problem on its own, but with nothing on the backside of the stove (controls are in front), when you open the door the whole oven moves because the weight balance is off. For the price and name recognition, this is just an ok buy. I would not purchase again.
