This is a great addition for a Kitchenaid Mixer, kids love to see what's going on, as does the adults, this is a very easy to clean after use, the base mount unscrews for easy cleaning and has cover for the top to keep dust out (fits on it when on mixer for storage) or to cover something to put in fridge. The Kitchenaid name plate cover came off the mixer and fell inside and took some hard knocks, (don't try this at home) so it is pretty tough too. safety tip ~ always make sure the screw is tight on the cover/name plate on the front of the mixer before each use.

Purchased this glass bowl for my Wife. Outside of the Woow factor, this accessory gives the mixer an updated, modern look. The 5 qt. capacity and clear glass finish allow you to increase the volume of ingredience and save time while having control over when the mixture is at its best.

The bowl was exactly what I sought. The service, or lack there of, was appalling. I was verbally chastised by a Best Buy store associate for not picking up my merchandise on time. Problem, the merchandise arrived early and no one bothered to tell me. Not what I expected from Best Buy.
