I bake every day because we don't eat anything processed. Maintaining the correct temp is vital to me so my cooking isn't time and money down the hole. I want it perfect and not just sometimes. That was exactly why I tried two different manufacturer double ovens to no avail and then finally saw this Kitchen Aid and since I still have the stand mixer that I bought 30 years ago and it works perfectly, I gave them a chance. I'm so glad I did! All the ranges have "easy to clean" cook tops and they all also look nice. I'm a serious cook/baker and although this oven has those features also, all I really care about is reliable cooking temps. If you can't picture how big 6.2 cf of space is think of it like this, if you filled two tall kitchen trash bags you could easily stand them up side by side in the oven and close the door no problem! The main rack has wheels #a first for me# so you can pull the rack safely all the way out for say basting, using a simple little fork. No jerky or sticking movements. Just slides right out for you. Unlike double ovens because the oven is so big you run no risk of burning your forearm #hard to avoid actually on doubles# and you also don't have to bend down to the floor to remove your meal. Oh, and the double oven means you have to be looking straight down into the heat blast when you open the door, not much fun if you wear glasses. Oh, also the warming drawer is very handy and has multiple heats you can select.
