    Works great!

    I've had this stove for a few months now and really like it! It heats up really fast, cooks well and bakes great. The smooth top looks great and is easy to wipe off. You do have to scrub a bit for spillages to disappear. The only negative is that it's easy to bump into the controls and then it beeps and the display lights up thinking you may want to start baking. Also if you bump into it when it's baking it can shut off and you may have to reset the controls:( So that's rather annoying, but now that I know what to look for hopefully it won't happen very much. After dealing with the last stove we had (Jenn Air) this one is a dream. We have an oven liner on the bottom of the oven to protect from messes occurring. We are planning on not using the self clean because after much research on the Jenn Air and why that oven failed us we are believing that using the self clean modes causes a lot of problems with the electrical units. So we will be manually cleaning this one.

    Broken when I bought it

    When I ordered it the oven never worked. We hired an electrician to be sure it wasn't our wiring. So we had to wait 2 weeks to get a repair man sent through Kitchen Aide. When he came he said this is very common problem with these ranges. But he did not have parts to fix so we had to wait another week for him to order and come back. When he came back he said it was fixed and to let it run for 30 minutes. He wasn't even gone 10 minutes before it shut off again. He said he had no clue what was wrong and that was 3 days ago and we have not heard back. Overall I am very furious with this product. We have had to go out to eat everynight waiting on my $2000 brand new, never been used range to work.

    The look of this range is just what I wanted and it works beautifully. Having said that, I'm considering returning it. The control panel on the front is very sensitive and I'm constantly turning on the light or warming drawer with my hip if I bump it in the slightest. The fan is the worst part though. It runs whether on regular or convection settings and emits a very shrill sound. It runs the entire time something is cooking and after to cool it off. My kitchen is open to the entire house and I can't get away from the noise. It's terribly annoying.

    I am a new homeowner and I purchased this stove to replace the one left by the previous homeowner. I was fortunate to find a floor model at the local Best Buy, therefore I did not pay retail price. The cooktop works great but can a bit hard to clean especially if oil happens to spill on it. Th oven works great, especially when the convection fan is on. The convection fan is a bit loud but I wouldn't consider that a deal breaker. If you are looking for a slide in range to fir in an island kitchen you should definitely look into this range.

    Dual Is The Way To Go

    An electric oven bakes more evenly than gas and gas surface burners offer better control over skillet cooking. This range is the best of both worlds. The warming drawer is not only great for late arrivals to dinner, but I use it to warm plates when I have family gatherings. I love the versatility of this range.

    Purchased as an open box buy. Two guys came out and helped me load it into my truck. They would not accept a tip. Fairly easy installation process and the stove works great.
