Very versatile and makes mixing a variety of items a breeze

I love my KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. Unfortunately, it stopped working on Easter morning, when my daughter was making a cake, 16 months after my purchase. Luckily, with my Best Buy Total Tech membership, it fell within the two year extended warranty and it was replaced. Fingers crossed the replacement lasts a lot longer.

Husband got this for me for our anniversary. I love it.

Great for breads, and anything to mix. With various mixing attachments and accessories I find it to be very useful in that I end up using all of the things that can be used with it especially the apple peeler and meat grinder. I enjoy baking and find that I am doing it more since I got the Kitchen Aide Mixer.

There are several sizes available, this being more middle-of-the-road, so measure your space first! Also many more colors online than available in stores (including several different blues). Works very well. Heavy and little hidden plastic feet (not suction cup, but non-damaging plastic to avoid sliding) - won't damage counters or move without being picked up. Includes multiple mixing and other useful accessories. Only complaint may be the clear plastic pouring shield, as it is rather loose - does its job but just sits there, doesn't snap in or hold tight so you need to hold it as you pour in liquids or flour to ensure nothing spills and it doesn't fall.

Unless you are into making bread, which this unit does not come equipped with the necessary tools, it is the right size for basic baking. And, though heavy does not require a lift truck to move!

Bought this on a whim to make the newly revealed recipe Doubletree cookies. It made it a cinch! It’s powerful, doesn’t sling the ingredients everywhere, and looks great too. Plus it’s heavy enough to stay in place while working and feels solidly built.
