The first week I went a bit overboard baking breads, cheese cakes, angle food cake. We even purchased and ice cream maker. This mixer is a joy to work with. Great Christmas gift.

The KitchenAid Standing mixer has been the most fun appliance I have ever bought. Every Christmas I use to make cheese bisquits by hand, now with my dough hook it's become a breeze and I can make twice as many with the same effort. Before pound cakes overwhelmed my hand mixers, now the kitchenaid can handle with no problem. It is by far my handiest appliance in my kitchen.

I absolutely love this mixer!! It is very sleek and stylish, while at the same time getting the job done with ease.

Works great but the pour spout lids really doesn't work very well. I am happy with it.

What is there to say? It's a great mixer. The unit and mixing attachments that come with it are great, but a huge plus is that there are scads of other pieces (meat grinder, pasta maker, etc.) for the hardcore home chef. With Kitchenaid, just pick your color and you will be a happy camper.

I personally love more the Artisan! It moves amazing for frosting!! I really love it!

I received this mixer on Valentine's Day almost three years ago, and this is a life saver when I do all my baking in the kitchen Not only is it a great way to do all of my baking needs cut in half, but it also looks great in the kitchen. Highly recommended!

Love everything about my kitchen aid! I got my favorite color!

I got a KitchenAid stand mixer hoping that this would be a long-term investment. After 3 years with moderate use it simply stopped turning on. I've tried different outlets/circuits etc. so the problem is definitely with the mixer. It didn't overheat either as it didn't turn off during mixing. KitchenAid wants to charge for so much as looking at the mixer, let alone covering the cost for repair.

I was head baker on my last sea going command and coming into a kitchen without one of these babies is such a culture shock. For years they have been $300 and I was gonna wait until they came down in price. 15 years later still the same price. So this sale just tempted me to get one.

For the fashion-forward baker. There are so many colors to choose from, it is perfect to leave out in the corner of the kitchen as an accent piece. It makes a great wedding gift! It's a must have for anyone at any level of baking expertise.

I got this for my Niece for her Birthday/Christmass present and she loves it. I wanted to keep it for myself at the price that I got it for! I will be getting one soon!
