I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and she has just raved over it. She loves it. Her only complaint is with how heavy it is, but that's also one of the perks. It doesn't shimmy across the counter when she's using it.

I got my kitchen aid for a wedding gift 30 years ago and it still works great. Bought this for a wedding gift now for a family member. Wish you could still get the can opener attachment. Seems to be discontinued.

This mixer has the necessary sized bowl for me to make 24 muffins at one time! I have mixed meat loaf, italian bread, hoggie rolls and probably over 100 cookies. They are tanks.
