I have wanted this mixer for years, so I finally got it. I didn't have a color preference; I bought the ink blue because it was on sale. Kitchenaid makes a great product and this mixer no exception. I already used it to make cookies and it creamed the butter sugar perfectly. If you like to bake...get this mixer...you will love to bake!

The quality is amazing. This is a very wellbuolt machine. It's easy to use and we plan on doing alot more cooking and experimenting with the attachments.

I love this purchase! It made me feel like I had put money into my kitchen, perfected my countertop, and made my baking easier all I one! I have a few girlfriends in my condo complex who borrow this mixer on the regular because it’s amazing!! Anyone who bakes or cook...you need this!! Spend the money because all other mixers break. I know, I had a few in my day!

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She has osteo arthritis pretty bad in her hands and mixing by hand is very painful, even using the hand mixer has become painful for her as her arthritis worsens. Even mixing up some mashed potatoes or pancake mix had become difficult. With the kitchenaid mixer, she is able to cook and bake again without pain! She has even gotten excited about trying out new tools and attachments and making recipes she has never tried before! I would have given 5 stars if the machine was lighter... It is too heavy for her to pick up or move by herself (because of the arthritis).

We bought this for my mom for Christmas, something she has always wanted, she loves everything about it! And the color is beautiful. Highly recommend this Kitchenaid Mixer.

Bought this for my husband who enjoys cooking. I love the color and he has since used it and loves it to death! Works for what he needs it for. Different parts need to be purchased separately. No issues after using. Bestbuy was great in delivering.

You want to bake good, you get a kitchenaid stand mixer. That's all there is to it. No fancy attachments come with. It's heavy and it mixes things just fine. They changed the bowl from the one my wife got at a garage sale many years ago, it's nicer and the handle feels smoother.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The Kitchen Aide mixer is the best in it's class. My previous stand mixer was not as sturdy as my new kitchen aide, I had to manually assist with turning the bowl while mixing ingredients. Very tiring when baking multiple items. The Kitchen Aide is hands free. Baking this holiday season was so much easier. I look forward to using the additional attachments.

A few years ago I got my wife a stand mixer. She'd always wanted one. Instead of "OMG I LOVE IT" her first words were "It's not a KitchenAid". I didn't know the difference, I thought a stand mixer was a stand mixer. The old one worked, it mixed things, everything was fine for a few years until my wife decided to get into baking bread. I thought that thing was going to explode, or shake itself off the counter, or both! Finally got her the KitchenAid she really always wanted, and MAN THE DIFFERENCE IS NIGHT AND DAY!! This thing is SOLID. It barely moves even on thick bread dough! It's construction is vastly superior to the other brand. The handle on the bowl, and the plastic shield are nice touches, but when we are talking about a $200 difference between the off brand and this, it really is the quality and construction that makes it worth it. Summery: Stand mixers are all basically the same, this does it's job no better or worse than the cheap brand, but the quality of the construction makes it worth the extra expense.

Works great! I have a 7 qt Pro Line KA mixer and needed something smaller. Was worried I wouldn't have near enough power after using the larger unit for so many years, but really like the size and manageability. Does a great job mixing, kneading, etc.

Bought this for my wife at Christmas time and although we have only used it a handful of times, we are VERY happy with this mixer! It works better than expected and feels like a high quality product. Easy to use, but a little pricey.

This is my first stand mixer and I love it! I have made tons of cookies and brownies. I've even used it to mix hamburger meat. This weekend I'm going to try to make homemade dog treats. I am so glad I bought this! I also bought the flex edge beater and it really makes things easier when making cookies. (It should be a standard accessory that comes with unit!)

I purchased this model and it was delivered last week. I went to make bagels (using 3 1/2 cups of flour) and the machine stopped kneading. The motor runs but the attachments don’t spin. The locking mechanism did not work and kept popping up while mixing, and the lever to switch speeds was so tight and difficult to move. I had previously owned a KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer for 21 years and replaced it with this newer model. Unfortunately, it’s crap. Best Buy is sending out a new mixer. Hopefully the new mixer will work. Best Buy Customer Service was great!
