So far she loves it and has thrown out several items it replaced. She was thrilled with the included attachments.

Tried and true stand mixer, worth every penny.

Caught it on sale during the Valentine's Day weekend and finally pulled the trigger. It works just like my mom's, and feels just as sturdy and well made. My only complaints are minor nitpicks. I wish the power cord wasn't black. With any light, pastel colors it seems off-putting. Also, the clear plastic splash guard is terrible and doesn't work for anything more than mixing flour at the first speed. Just don't be an idiot when mixing and turn it up all the way when the bowl is full of powdered sugar.
