I'm able to whip up a cake much faster. Although it's hard to scrap the bowl while mixing. The pouring shield doesn't have a snug fit it can be a hindrance.

The mixer is very sturdy, easy clean, and easy to use. I have NOT had issues with metal flakes or grey showing in my batter as some have said in their reviews, I ensured to wipe the entire machine down before use and made sure to get the nooks and crannies. The packaging was very sturdy (three boxes nested inside of another w/ padding). The mixer is true to color shown in the Ad, but when you try to photograph it looks like little lighter but thats ok . The beater paddle & dough cook came in a nice powder coated gray, instead of the bare metal (which I was happy about), the whisk is metal as it should be. Mixer is very low profile so it fits under my kitchen cabinets. Glass bowl with a handle is the way to go. The color is beautiful and I got a great price (about 270) with warranty. I've wanted one for over 10 years but didn't want to pay a fortune, wanted a pretty color like this, an extended warranty and the Artisan model. So this is the first time I found one that satisfied all of those stipulations. I could go on forever, long story short, best mixer I've ever owned and have no regrets about my purchase what so ever. No compromises! Would recommend over and over.

My old Sunbeam mixer of many years finally gave out so I thought I'd try the KitchenAid. Sturdy, well built, and great colors to choose from. Wasn't sure what to expect since my old mixer had twin beaters and spinning bowl but this mixer does an excellent job. The splash guard came in handy when beating condensed milk at full speed when making my favorite Woolworth's no bake cheesecake. Cake mix is a breeze. Haven't tried cookies or bread yet, but I'm sure this will handle them well.

I have had a KitchenAid mixer my whole adult life. It helps feed us at least twice a week. After 17 years I decided to upgrade to a more powerful model and loved being able to pick my own color. I chose 'ocean drive'. Packaging was great and the mixer is gorgeous. It seems a little quieter than my older model. I've used it twice so far and everything seems in order to have many tasty foods feed my ravenous teenagers...they are bottomless pits, so having the spacious bowl and the equipment to assist is extremely helpful and why KichenAid is such a good investment. I gave 4 stars because differentiating between models/prices and accessories was irritating to me.

Got this as a gift to my wife. She loves it. It gets used a few times per week at least. Home made ice cream, cookies, shredded chicken, zoodles, you name it - this thing performs flawlessly and effectively. Was kind of shocked at the price before buying, but it is worth every penny!

Worked great for Christmas cookies however sometimes it didn’t mix the ingredients on the bottom with both the dough hook or the whisk. Also I found it difficult to scrape the sides of the bowl or pour ingredients in unless turning mixer off and lifting up the head. I was using a hand mixer or mixing with a spoon prior so I’m very happy to have the help of a stand mixer. Easy to clean. Love the pouring shield.

I’ve only used it a few times, I feel like after a while I will learn everything it is able to do, but I already love it. Love the color. It’s easy to clean. It’s awesoem. I’ve always wanted one and finally I got one.

Wow this mixer is powerful and just the perfect size and color(Ocean Drive). Matches my countertop color and never strains or fuses about heavy mixes. I love it

I love this mixer. The color is so bright and looks great on my counter. Since I do a lot of baking it makes preparing everything quicker and easier.

I’m glad that I bought a Kitchen Aid. It makes things easier and faster in the kitchen. It was the best decision ever made.

Awesome mixer. Strong. Just dont put too many ingredients in there. Lol. The purple is nice. Pretty easy to clean

This was a present for my daughter - she has had so much fun with it. Easy to use, it’s a work horse!

The motor head shakes A lot while kneading dough. Not sure if all mixers are like this. I adjusted the screw under the motor head, but the shaking was not improved much.

Love the color! Good quality. Got this for my sister for Xmas and she loves it.

Don't get me wrong, this is a good product, but I was expecting more. I've used this a quite a bit since purchase and it works...most of the time. It really seems to struggle with thicker pastry doughs to the point you worry about a motor burning out. I find myself still kneading by hand to avoid the headache. If you plan on working with heavier doughs, go with a stronger model.

Makes prepping dough for anything so easy and a MUCH better product.

This mixer is made well and the color fits our kitchen decor.

This mixer works fantastic. The first mixer I ordered from Best Buy arrived with a bad paint job so I returned it. The second mixer I ordered never arrived and was reported damaged by the shipper. Finally, I was able to order a third mixer that. And all in one piece and with a good paint job. As far as the mixer goes it’s great. Just try to get one in the store if you can.
