easy to set up and use. Mixes everything really good.

Purchased this item as a gift for my wife this year and let me say she loves it. She bakes often and the KA stand mixer is a high quality and effective part of her kitchen now. She could not be happier and has had no issues whatsoever. Set up was easy and clean up is easy as well. She ranks this as one of the best gifts I've ever given her.

My wife has been wanting one of these for a long while. She says, "it's just great...I can stand there and not have to hold a blender...it does cakes, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, cookies, bread...it's awesome...I just dump it all in a pot and go." I found having some parts not dishwasher able interesting but they are an easy hand wash.

If you cook (bake) a lot, a KitchenAid is essential. I've had mine for over 20 years and it still works great. This one was given as a gift - I think I've given ten others over the years. The 4.5 quart is the perfect size for almost everyone's needs. I bought it at Best Buy because it was the best sale price I found during the past few months.

The mixer works great, heavy duty, and easy to clean.

I already own a Kitchenaid mixer and use it for everything, along with multiple attachments. My mother commented several times that she would like to have one of her own, but couldn't see spending so much money. Since Best Buy had a great deal on this one during their Black Friday sale, I decided it was time she had one of her own.

Love it! We have the stainless steel mixer with 4.5 quart bowl. Easy to set up and use (but fairly heavy - good and bad - it won't slide off the counter but it is hard to move so plan on keeping it handy). Looks very nice (we keep it on the counter) and cleans up easily (just wipe down the mixer and hand wash/dry the bowl). It is really nice that the top of the mixer tilts so we can add more ingredients that way if we need to or just add while the mixer is mixing. Would buy again! Made one cake so far but we'll be making many more!

My main reason for purchasing this product was for its durability... I've seen plenty of reviews on other products and durability was a downfall in the long run. As for this model, you won't have to worry as the saying is true, you get what you pay for.

So I have had this for over a year now... I even got a happy anniversary email from Best Buy! At first I got it because it was an awesome sale and I figured I'd get my money out of it over time at the very least. Since I've gotten it, however, I've made so many baked goods from cookies and cakes to alcoholic desserts that are probably illegal in a few remote states (but that's ok, because I'm not sharing..). This is a very nice piece of equipment, works great, visually pleasing on the counter (thankfully because I don't really have room for it anywhere else), and quite functional having not been one of the Cadillac versions. My only gripe with this purchase is that it's forced me to set more hours for the gym (when I start going).

I bought it for kneading bread. It does that very well, but the motor seemed to be straining a little when the dough got stiff. It's probably better to knead in the last bit of flour by hand. The machine also works great for batters. I like that the slow speed is actually slow. The three tools that came with the machine do all the mixing, beating and kneading I want. The stuff in the bowl doesn't splatter.

Now that I have finally bought the stand mixer I am kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. I had no idea just how great these were. Completely can see this being in my home for years as it is sturdy and well made. Looking into the attachments and what else I can start making. Great product.

This was a gift to my Mom, to replace a stand mixer that had belonged to my Grandmother...it was older than I am! It was greatly received, and I thought the quality was as great as always. I really thought the price was the real reason I bought at Best Buy. I couldn't beat it anywhere.

It's the best mixer my wife has ever owned, as it was a birthday gift to her. I continue to reap the benefits of this purchase. With the amount of attachments that could be used for this machine, the possibilities are endless. Planning on buying the ice cream attachment soon!

If you like cooking, then you know a stand mixer is a must. Kitchenaid is the Craftsman of stand mixers. Ever wish you were shy a hand while prepping/cooking, well that's where the stand mixer comes in handy.

My original one of 25 years finally died. Motor burned out. So I replaced it with it's current version and hope to get another 25 years out of it. Need I say more?

This blender is an amazing deal for someone who has never had a mixer before. The power is more than enough to handle any basic mix on just the low speed setting. It is very easy to use and even easier to clean. I would recommend this blender to anyone for basic home use, or even someone who bakes for a hobby.

I love to bake with my sons. I spent quite a bit of time agonizing over getting the classic mixer or the artisan series. Finally, my wife convinced me to at least try the classic. Gotta say, "I am happy". It does everything I need it to do. Turns out I have not needed the handle on the bowl or the top with the pour spout. If you are a part-time cook like I am, save yourself some money and get this mixer...

I bought one of these for my daughter, after she borrowed her Grandmother's machine, which is basically identical - and now over thirty years old! These machines are the Toyota Tacomas of mixmasters. They work great and you can't kill 'em.
