Meh. I bought this to stir my organic nut butter after burning up one from Amazon in less than a week. This KitchenAid lacks the power of the Amazon one and has an annoying "feature" that causes the blender to shut off when the substance is too thick. I suppose this protects it from burning out, but it also causes it to fail to do the job. I only kept it because I essentially got it free with the rewards I had on my account.

It would be a great blender, but the top and bottom part keeps unlocking when you are in the middle of blending, especially if it’s something sticky like dates etc.
