This KitchenAid hand blender is a handy little tool to have at the ready! When opening this hand blender I noticed the same characteristic I have seen every other KitchenAid product that I have used have and that is heavy duty quality. This did not feel cheap like they skipped out on materials or build quality at all. It feels solid in your hand despite being a small kitchen appliance. Latching the blending arm to the motor feels like a very secure connection and there is no play at all. The button also feels precise and smooth, again not cheap feeling at all. I also love the convenient sized blending cup the blender came with, it was the perfect size for the family to make milkshakes in. I also appreciated the plastic bumper to put around the base of the blending arm to not scratch or damage what you are blending in. It's the little things like that that a manufacturer like KitchenAid thinks of. I used this in my big pot of pasta sauce and regularly touched the bottom and sides and not a single scratch to be found. Our milkshakes came out very good, but a different texture than what I was expecting. I do not fault the machine because I think I just didn't know what I was doing yet. I was very satisfied though when it came to mixing the pasta sauce with the meat and other added ingredients. It mixed it up with ease and the texture afterward was great. I think this item can be great for making smoothies or other drinks, baby foods, and definitely for cooking purposes! I can see myself using this more so for cooking because it is such a small but handy tool to use, and cleanup is a breeze. Its not like I have to dig out a big appliance and clean up a bunch of pieces later. Overall I highly recommend this hand blender, this may not be a kitchen appliance that everyone will use regularly, but it is one that everyone should have because when the job arises for it, it will handle it with ease and make the task easier for you!

The cord means no charging necessary and helps make storage easy. Plenty of power for crunching just about anything – great for gazpacho!

I love this little thing that Kitchenaid made. Not only it's well built but its fun to use. You can easily blend soups and deserts in the pot as its cooking without steam burning your hand with the 8-inch arm. The cord is long enough to reach from the A/C outlet and it's also easy to clean when you are done with the blender. They give you jars which you can store more of your blended items. The design goes along with all Kitchenaid products so if you have more of their products everything around you has a clean/industrial look. I've seen my mom's kitchen enough to know as she raves about them. I haven't made a milkshake but I plan on trying a Pumpkin milkshake with the hand blender. So far I've made potato and bacon soup and it came out perfect in the pot itself. I didn't have issues with the item but they did send me the wrong color as I got black but other than that I love the hand blender and I would love to own more of KitchenAid products in the future as this is one of my first products. also I would recommend blending a little longer for creamer tasting food. overall I give this 5/5 stars.

The Kitchen Hand Blender is a simple yet useful kitchen tool that does a small number of jobs very well. It comes with a jar (with a convenient lib for storage), and has variable speed control. Another good thing is a pan guard that helps protect the blades hitting the sides of the pan in which you need to mix stuff. The blending arm is long enough for most uses (about 8”) and is detachable. This helps clean it either by hand or it’s also dishwasher safe. The main motor, however, is corded. That creates a bit of inconvenience, but the plus side is there’s no charging etc., and the motor runs at a high speed as needed. The speed is variable, but pressure sensitive - so there’s no distinct speed step where you lock it. I saw something called a “speed controller guard”, but don’t know what it does exactly. It acts more like a resting place for my thumb. With the blender, I made some milkshakes and they turned out to be very good. I tried to make some mashed (sweet) potatoes, and it was quite good. But because of my own overdoing it the end product became finer than expected - but I digress. Overall, the hand blender does what it’s supposed to be. The price point is good and the build quality is quite nice and sturdy. I only wish the speed controller switch had some distinct notches so that a certain speed could be locked.

Kitchen Aid never disappoints. I had been looking for a hand blender for a while now and I finally decided on this one. I am so glad I did. First it feels sturdy. Too often hand blenders can feel light and cheap. This is a very sturdy blender. It is the perfect weight in my opinion. I realy appreciate that it also comes with its own 3 cup blending jar. I also like that it doesn't scratch the bowl or pan that I am using when blending items. The grip is great and the trigger is easy to use. My kids love to help make smoothies and I like making salsa with this. This is my new go to gadget in the kitchen. I look for any excuse to use it now.

This thing is wonderful!! Mixed up milkshakes like a dream very smooth. The cord is a good length and over size is great. Fits perfectly in my drawer!

Blender works beautifully for a variety of needs. I use it for whipping up scrambled eggs, making sauces and salad dressings. I highly recommend to use in lieu of a whisker that gets messy and not as exact. Using this blender makes it more efficient and easier clean-up.

I'm happy with this Hand Blender so far. It seems to have more power than a previous blender that I had, and I like that it plugs in instead of having to be charged when it loses power.

Not very loud, handy and easy to use. There is a seperate attachment tot protect the pans while using the blender inside the pans it is definetly a very good idea. I liked and satisfied.

I had been waning a new hand blender after my last one died after 10 years. This is a change! Used this to make shakes (not smoothies with ice) Mixed even the hardest to mix protein drinks. I really cant wait for the holidays when I get into baking. very powerful, the blending cup was kinda a waste for me. I did not try to make iced smoothies with this. I am keeping the rubber guard on the blender so I do not use it. It did not degrade performance, so I suggest just leave it on.

I bought this because it was the only one available and it was worth it. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and do light.
