Like most, was worried a little about buying refurbished, but after having it for a month, we are very happy with it. It seems to have a lot of power without making a lot of noise. There is a spot on the cover where food occassionally gets jammed but they thoughtfully provided a scraping tool to remove. So far, nothing that we have seem would keep us from recommending this.

Overall a good food processor and value for the money. The main issue I had with it was that the blade could have been a little closer to the bottom of the bowl. Sometimes there would be a layer on the bottom that didn't get mixed with the rest (depending on the consistency of the food), and I would have to manually mix it in with a spatula.

The bride's a chef so I bought this a a replacement for her since our old one broke. This was a refurb for $40 and a great deal. It's a cup smaller than her old one but she likes it. all rounded edges with flat buttons makes it easy to clean. a good buy.

I purchased this for my daughter's 24th birthday. Because of money being tight, I had a limit as to what I wanted to spend. After looking, she was really set on the Kitchen Aid processor, but $100 wasn't in my budget at the time. We somehow ran across the refurbished one's that Best Buy was offering, and needless to say, I was a little skeptical, at first, until I read some of the reviews and Best Buy's explanation on what exactly refurbished products had to offer. I made an excellent choice and would not hesitate to buy another refurbished one v's brand new(I'm hoping to get myself one). My daughter brought it home for the weekend and I was totally amazed at what it could do. Loved how it sliced potatoes!!! Hope to get one before canning season gets here!!! Wish me Luck!!
