It works for my mixer model but I think I used a big bowl because it was a bit too short to scrap the edges, it helped move the dough around the bowl though.

This flex edge beater works great for making buttercrream. It scrapes it all from the sides of the bowl easily. Its easy to attach and clean as well.

This is our second one because we got tired of having to stop and wash it to use for something else right away. works like it is supposed to.

I love the way this beater not only mixes the ingredients but scrapes the sides as well. It does exactly what I want.

This is a great addition to the tools that come with the mixer. It does a nice job of scraping along the side of the bowl. I liked it so much I got one for a family member. My only complaint is that the packaging will tell you the model number of the mixer it will fit but this is not terribly useful. Family member has an Artisan and I have a Classic Plus. This info can be found right on the mixer. It makes more sense on the website to tell if the Flex-Edge is for an Artisan, rather than giving the model number.

This beater is a big improvement over the one that came with my mixer. It scrapes the sides of the bowl for faster incorporating of ingredients. Easy cleanup!

Waited many years to get my Kitchenaid stand mixer. This flex-edge beater is amazing. Never a need to stop the mixer to scrape the sides again!

This was my mistake but I figured I might not be alone in this: I didn't realize that this beater was not made to fit my 6 quart bowl. The photo clearly shows a tilt head mixer but for some reason I didn't question whether they were the same or not. They aren't. It looked the same size to me in the store. I'm sure it's nice; I like the coating instead of bare metal, seems easier to clean, and would be better at scraping the sides than my stock model, but this did not work for me.

I like this side scrapper, it mixes well and gets to the sides of the bowl. I use it a lot. It attaches easy, and its easy to clean.

The first time it was used the bowl was so clean it looked like it didn’t need washing! Great addition to the Kitchen Aid stand mixer!

The KitchenAid flex beater is a great accessory for any one who loves to bake. The rubber edge helps mix batter smoothly without having to stop and scrape the bowl sides.

The rubber edge really scraps the side of the bowl. I did not have to stop the mixer to scrape. Worked great.

Wondering how I lived without this. Of course you still have to scrape the sides of the bowl a bit, but much less than the mixing attachment without the rubber. Recommend hand wash to keep the rubber from shrinking or distorting.

This is a great paddle attachment. Our KitchenAid mixer is still working from the original purchase in the 1970s. The paddle attachment was lost decades ago and finding this in the store made making cookies that much easier.

Great attachment to have if you like baking. My wife loves it

Great idea to get all the sides into the mix. It cleans the sides clean so you don't have to stop and scrape.

The built-in scrapper works better than I would have thought. I make chocolate chip cookies frequently and the edge takes care of breaking the chocolate chips between the beater and the bowl.

Got my first Kitchen Aid mixer and a friend told me how much she loved this beater. Makes blending a lot easier since it scrapes the sides for you but you still have to be sure ingredients on the bottom are mixed in.
