I always wanted to make my own pasta versus store bought. This was super easy to set-up and use.

I absolutely love making my own pasta. The attachments are easy to use. The cleaning of them is the only downfall. Getting the Freshprep (only at Best Buy) as a bundle is outstanding!

Makes all kinds of pasta. Use fresh or freeze for later use. Like how well it works with the kitchen aid stand mixer.

Excellent value for a heavy duty kitchen tool. I was shocked by the weight of this unit as I unpacked it from it's reusable box. After a quick wash, we installed a die, and started making pasta dough. It really couldn't be much easier & we've used almost every type this unit can create. I'd probably give it 4 stars for cleaning of the dies, but 5 stars for the product itself. We've tweaked the recipes that come with the press, but are really having fun making our own pasta!

This is one of the many adoptions I've purchased and I'm enjoying them all. It was so much fun to make homemade noodles for spaghetti and another noodle dish. We are displaced from Hurricane Laurs and cant wait to make more once we are settled. Note: It took a couple tries to get it right so, don't be disappointed if your first try doesn't go so good. Also, thinner noodles are more difficult than thicker ones. The thinner ones break easier.

This press is the real deal for making extruded pasta of various kinds! It was easy to setup and works like a champ. The pasta comes out slow enough (even with the mixer on the highest speed) that it's easy to make consistently sized pieces of pasta. Homemade pasta is sooooo much more flavorful than the dried commerically available pasta. If you love your pasta, get this attachment! I'm not sure how to improve this, but my only nag is that although it comes apart for easier cleaning, getting the pasta dough out of every nook and cranny it gets in where the pressing happens is a bit tedious. The special metal pencil tool they include is a critical tool for getting it completely clean. Soap and water weren't enough.

Homemade noodles are the best! This thing makes them with your dough! You eat them! Your happy to eat them! If you don’t have one of these your missing out, this unit works great for us!

So, I really wanted to like this as while I love making fresh pasta at home, I wanted some pressed pasta rather than stuff based on ribbons. You can't use this to create shapes with an egg based pasta. It'll be too gummy and thick. So stick with semolina flour and water based dough and have the dough be a little drier than most online recipes will tell you. Cleaning it is a bit tedious, so be prepared to spend some time with the special tool they provide to dig out pieces of dough nearly everywhere. If you absolutely want to have homemade pressed pasta, this is probably the best affordable option to get that won't take up too much space in your kitchen (if you have the mixer) or don't want a manual press.

This product actually works. I was skeptical about it. The only issue is the 'wire cutter' doesn't cut the pasta too good. You have to be fast about it, especially when making Rigatoni. Overall, happy with the purchase.

I only gave it 4 stars vs 5 stars because it takes a while to produce pasta.

First batch of pasta came out great, really easy to use and clean up was no problem. Wish there were some pasta recipes included though.

Easy to use. Takes a little time for the dough to press out... be patient. Takes care to clean the press... again be patient; drink some wine and enjoy your fresh pasta!

I love making pasta with this. Fresh pasta taste great and is fun. This product makes it easy! Clean up takes a little effort.... but creation takes no effort.

Another great attachment! Making pasta is easy, and tools like this just make it easier, and a lot of fun!
