Does a good job chopping and shredding, but is harder to clean than my old one. Despite its lighter weight, it is very stable.

Large size allows for quicker preparation of food. Multiple blade options are great. Nice storage box for the blades and accessories.

I have been a Cuisinart food processor owner for more than 30 years, but after my last purchase 8 years ago, I changed my mind. The cutting blade rusted and snapped off. I called Cuisinart and they weren't interested. I understand they now have recalled processors for that problem. After throwing the maachine in the garbage, I researched others and decided on the KitchenAid. I couldn't be more pleased. The attachments are sturdy and come in a separate case so they are not loose in a drawer. a definite improvement. Also, there are more options for use.

The unit was a little confusing to use the first time. It has a lot of parts that need to put on a certain way before the machine can actually turn on because it the built-in safety feature. After figuring it out it works great and makes chopping and slicing much easier and faster.

This food processor makes everything so easy! Meal prep is done so much faster.

This is my first food processor so I can't compare but so far I have chopped, diced, sliced and pureed with ease. Clean up is easy enough and the case for the blades is convenient. Be prepared to find extra cupboard or counter space, it is not small.

Very light unlike the Cuisinart. I’ve owned the Cuisinart for many years and needed a new after it broke. The base of the KitchenAid is super light but it is equally as powerful. Lots of attachments and little inner bowl. Very easy to use!

I purchased this item for a bridal shower gift. I have an old version of the cusinart food processor and I think it's a great product.

I purchased this model after my beloved KitchenAid's handle malfunctioned and no longer released. I did extensive research on a new food processor and wanted to give KitchenAid another chance. It was promptly delivered to my home and began the unveiling. From the beginning the quality of the bowl and lid was inferior. They did not quite fit right and would not lock or release easily. The motor and housing felt like I was buying a cheap product that would not withstand being used on a frequent basis. I really wanted to love it, but in the end it was returned. I ended up buying the Cuisinart 11 cup alternative and am pleased!

My wife really wanted this since she is a food blogger so I got it for her as an anniversary/birthday gift she has used it practically every day since and loves it. I love this food processor, it is only that I am new using it, so I needed more instructions. I missed the How to use part of the owner's manual. But it is great and easy to use.

I know a lot of bargain hunters prefer the ninja brand over this one, but let me tell you there is no comparison. You pay for what you get.

Plenty of power with this machine, graded some hard parmesan and didn't enough phase it. Nice versatile selection of accessories.

Has a heavy base so it doesn’t run away when switched on. All the parts store in a compact container and it feels very robust when assembling.

Just wanted to make my wife happy. This is what she wanted for Christmas.

Works well, good results and solid construction, but I could do without some of the copious attachments. Lots of little bits to wash as well. The bowl is donut shaped, which makes scraping out food a bit awkward.
