We have been making all of the Christmas goodies this year with this and it has done great. Only complaint is that it is a bit loud at higher speed settings.

I bought this to replace my smaller version as an upgrade. After 7 years my smaller KitchenAid mixer is still going. Aside from beater attachments, all my other attachments fit which is a plus. NO Cons

I believe this model is being discontinued and the price has been reduced. This model has all steel gears for durability and 450 watts which makes it capable of larger loads. Heavy duty machine @ a great price.

First of all, the bowl is huge. I can easily fit four 1.5lb loaves of bread or a triple batch of cookies. If using the mixer for commercial use or large batch baking its safe to assume 50 average size cookies at once can be made (measured using a cookie scoop). I've tried doing larger batches of cookies and while it doesn't bother the mixer at all it does overflow the bowl. I'm fairly certain the seven quart bowl will fit this mixer and there is a small bowl/whisk set for whipping cream or beating egg whites available for smaller jobs.

Love it! Easy to use and easy to clean. No installation required. It comes ready to go. Bowl is a good size for all baking and cooking needs. Item is heavy.

Used it yesterday to make a cake and a pizza for my wifes birthday worked great!! very powerful, its bigger than tilt head mixers comes with the bowl, and 3 items more

Even though I haven't had it to happen yet. It has an overload switch which will save itself from the tough dough's. If it doesn't, they are an easy fix for an amateur handman/woman. Enjoy using this mixer day to day due to it not being so loud. Looking forward to this mixer lasting 20 years as a friend's mixer did.

The machine works great and it is easy to use. The best part is the bowl lift, once you have all your ingredients in you just lift up and its ready to go.

Perfect upgrade for the holidays and year round. My boys..yes teenagers..love to use this to make home made pretzels ans pizza dough..plus cookies. Love it.

We have used it more times than we thought. Operates easy and easy cleaning. Mixes good. Whips cream fast and fluffy. Splash guard is highly recommended when adding liquids while mixing. Wife is happy
