I purchased this lift stand mixer to replace an older stand mixer of a different brand. I went with KitchenAid due to the great reputation of this brand, and I have not been disappointed. I read some reviews that stated the beaters did not reach all ingredients in the bottom of the bowl, and was a little concerned about that. However, there is a lever that adjusts the height of the beaters, so I'm not really sure why anyone would have this issue. By the way... I bought this at a GREATLY reduced sales price ==== BONUS

Bought two, one as a gift and this one for me. Love the heft and quality of these and have always wanted one in my kitchen!

Going strong more than a year now, if you knead a lot of thick dough (not cake) highly recommended

I bought this its for$225 it's was on sale(president day) and for me I believe I got excellent deal this mixer is awesome we can used for many things.

My wife loved this machine she now can make cookies, cakes and all sorts of great foods with this powerful compact mixer.

I love this mixer, it’s actually my second one the only complaint that I do have is that with this specific model the whisk has a hard time getting to bottom of the bowl and it doesn’t rotate the batter vs some other models.

This model is the Professional Grade mixer which has all metal internals and inherently stronger bowl-lift (as compared to the tilt head of the artisan series). Mechanically this is more sophisticated compared to the Artisan model. You are likely to find this at a slightly lower price in comparison to Artisan (they are available in many colors). Also, the bowl lift design enables to fit under most cabinets thus saving space. I strongly recommend this model if you are serious about cooking as this a better buy and second only to the 6-quart pro models that have more power.

This was a gift for someone but all I will say is that it was the best gift so far.

Makes baking a breeze. I’ve used it a few times in the short time that I’ve had it. The dough comes out more well mixed and smooth than when done by hand. I don’t regret this purchase.

Has the power for my needs, heavy so has a permanent position on my counter... I use several times a week, and am thrilled with my results!

I got this mixer on sale a month ago and since then I've used it at least a dozen times! It's the best mixer I've owned.. Great for making anything from meatloaf to cookies!

The size if decent, and 5 Qt is bigger than what I expected. I can pretty much mix every recipe i know and more. I prefer the professional version to the tilt one, too.

Awesome replacement for one that gave up after 25 years! Only complaint is I wish I would’ve gotten the tilt away model! Works great!

Upgrade for our family. More power, more volume, easier to use than our older model. And wow what a bargain at Best Buy

Great fast & powerful mixer! Cons: a little loud & hard to set bowl to back pin. Other than that still worth 4-5 stars.

Heavy, but also heavy duty. I don't have to worry about it jumping around while I'm making a double batch of cookies, etc.

I really like this mixer, good quality, mixes well, but a couple things that drop to 4-stars in my opinion. Everything is outstanding except these: 1) the bowl attachment/fitting is a bit odd. I felt like I needed to add pressure to the mixer that wasn’t necessary. To further explain this, it should only fit one way, but it can fit crooked which is a bit concerning. It wasn’t apparently obvious on how to fit the bowl back onto the mixer which led me to my second complaint. 2) the coated mixer attachment The coated version is easily damaged. Since I didn’t have the bowl 100% flush with the mixer. I started the mixer and it scraped off a piece of the coating on the attachment. Which ended up somewhere in my batch of cookies... Final I’d upgrade the mixer attachment. And id make sure you fully comprehend the bowl attachment mechanism before you make anything. Make sure the bowl is completely level, if it’s crooked, it’s not correct. Other than that, it’s great. Just don’t mess up like I did... facepalm emoji
