Gotta have one of these if you bake at all. Must have!

I upgraded to the KA Pro 5 Plus 5 Qt Mixer though my 25 yr old KA stand mixer was still working. I make bread every week, and my old one was laboring, so I wanted a stronger motor. The KA Pro 5 Plus may have a stronger motor, but it makes sounds when it's mixing like it's almost crying. And I'm not supposed to use the bread hook at any higher than 2. Also, the stainless steel bowl is not as thick and sturdy as with my old model. So I'm kind of on the fence about it, but nevertheless it still makes great bread.

This kitchen aid rocks! My mom loves it. All the attachments available are cool too.

My wife, who was once a professional cake maker, says that this is the best mixer she has ever used. It has a lot of power and, unlike some previous models, the shaft is easily accessible, making the attachments (pasta maker, etc.) easy to use. The bowl is not as deep, and is wider, than her previous Pro 5, so it is more convenient to add ingredients while mixing.

I ordered this for my mom on her birthday and she’s loving it! She makes dough with it with no problems with it moving/wobbling. The extensions it comes with are awesome too. Overall, great product at a great price. Would highly recommend. The only thing that’s confusing to figure out is placing the bowl because it was 3 things to snap onto (the sides and the back) but after a couple uses, you’ll get used to it.

This is easy to use for when I bake different things however it is kind of loud

This is my second Kitchenaid Mixer. My first one is over 34 years old and still works fine. I am making bread and larger batches of cookies so, my husband decided to buy a bigger Kitchenaid for me. I love it!! It does a wonderful job with breads and I can make double batches of cookies. If you bake, you will love this mixer. Too bad, Kitchenaid doesn't provide their recipe book that I received with my first almond colored "Classic". It has the best pie crust and angle food cake recipes.
