This mixer replaces a Classic KitchenAid that I have used for years. It still works well and has been well used. I decided to upgrade and am very happy with the bowl-lift style. It handles stiff doughs much better and the larger bowl is more convenient to add ingredients and scrape. I have been a baker for 50 years and gifted myself this mixer. I love it!

Great mixer. My wife saw one of the cheaper versions on sale and said she would really like one. I waited until she would be gone on a Saturday and priced it at Best Buy, was able to get the heavier duty one on sale for the same price. The wife loves it and was so excited that I got her the heavier duty one. As a bonus she thinks I spent a lot more than I did.

KitchenAid stand mixers are the best and just make everyday cooking and baking so much easier. Great build quality and they last forever. It's an investment but money well spent. Already made over 25 different batches of baked goods around the holiday season.

NOt as robust as the model 6 that broke, but price difference gives me acceptance

grrat mixer. Just buy it. But pick it up in the store. Best Buy uses UPS and they lost my package, then found it and delivered it opened and broken. Got this on sale and Best Buy did not allow in store pick up. If Best Buy doesn't let me pick it up in the store I won't buy it after this. Don't trust Best Buy to let someone ship their stuff. In store pickup only.

Bought this as a gift for my mother. She has really enjoyed it. This professional one is larger than the artisan. I was worried about how it would fit on her counter under the cabinets but it fits fine, the top does not raise and lower, it stays stationary while the arms raise and lower the mixing bowl so this eliminates the need for moving the whole mixer out from under the cabinets which is awesome! The 3 mixer attachments were included.

I waited years, because of the cost, to purchase a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I didn’t know what I was missing. The KitchenAid Stand Mixer is easy to set up and use. Since it is a recent purchase, I have only used it for a small number of things. I am excited for the mixing possibilities and really put it to work.

Great stand mixer didnt expect anything less from kitchen-aid. Runs smooth pretty quite for the power and over great quality. Will have to see how it holds up I'm and intermediate baker so will be used every now and then but first impressions amazing. I did get it on sale for 50% off so couldn't be happier!

Lovely machine, beautiful color, slight learning curves. I have never had a lift bowl kitchen aid, I’ve always had the bows the lock into the base with tilt heads...there is a slight learning curve remembering to attach your mixing attachment first. The motor is slightly louder than I’ve experienced before as well, I assume it’s because it’s a larger machine.

It's a Pro 5 KitchenAid. I fully expect this to last decades or more. They have started skipping on a simple, but IMO important part. They removed a spring and washer that held the attachments on more securely. Other than that, it's a great machine with a strong motor.
