[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a powerful stand mixer and this KitchenAid-Professional 5 Plus Series 5 Quart Bowl-Lift stand mixer is a power horse. I've made several cakes and breads and the attachments make everything a breeze. I was so amazed at its capabilities, that I also purchased the 7 cup food processor in matching red.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bowl was hardcto attach and when mixing a cake the motor sounded like it was grinding/struggling to mix. Had to return. Cheaper mixer was more quieter and mixed better. Very heavy !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At my age, I likely would never have purchased this mixer for myself, but I am so glad my husband and daughters gifted me with one. It is definitely an upgrade from my KitchenAid hand mixer and makes all of my mixing needs so much easier and enjoyable. I am so pleased with my mixer that I just purchased two more as Christmas gifts for two of my grandkids who are venturing out into the adult world.

Working from home gave me more time to try out some of those recipes I have been saving...especially the bread recipes. I found out my portable mixer just wasn't what I needed for breads. So I ordered the Professional 5 Plus Series 5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. Just like any new appliance there was a learning curve for using it, but the curve was very short. After using it twice I felt like an old pro. The features I especially like are the stability as it mixes and the ease of adding ingredients. I like being able to add some additional features and different size bowls when I choose. The stainless steel bowl is so easy to use, and I don't have to worry about breaking it. I don't know how I got along without it. I wish I had bought it sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been really happy with this upgrade from my classic tilt mixer. The wider bowl is great for handling bread doughs and the larger paddle, hook and whisk get things done quickly.

While it is a little heavy for her to lift; once it's on the counter she takes full control. Easy to use, intuitive, powerful and makes baking a whole lot more easy and fun! Love the red color too!
