Over-all the mixer is like new, it's model number has been changed to indicate that it was re-furbed. But it works and operates with great power and does everything my wife has asked of it. The tilt head might have been nicer, but the bowl up/down lever works because the mixer fits under our upper cabinets without having to pull it out . leaving more counter space in front of it.

Exceeds my expectations. Heavy duty and very powerful. So far have used it for mixing and grinding meat - worked like a charm!

I bought this as a gift for my older brother, who is studying to be a chef. He was speechless for the first time in his life. I was a little nervous about purchasing a refurbished product, but he has had no problems as of yet. I received twice the mixer for the price of a standard KitchenAid, so I am happy.

I have struggled with hand mixers and other brand stand mixers and this mixer beats them all hands down! It looks great in my kitchen, blending well with my stainless steel appliances; it is efficient and quiet getting the job done in short order.

It's great to have a handle on the bowl, it makes it so much easier when the bowl is hot. Hope the refurbished unit lasts for years.

We were excited to be able to buy a factory refurbished model as it allowed us to upgrade to a better mixer. Warranty is good. Delivery was excellent.

this is great for anyone who enjoys large batch mixing not so good for someone who is just starting out or small batches
