This is a great dishwasher. I wish we would have purchased it a long time ago. It would be nice if the control buttons were less sensitive to touch.

We purchased this dishwasher and was pleased with the quality at first. However, it has become the most unreliable appliance we've ever owned. The mother board has been replaced once, the door clapse twice, the soap dispenser once. It also does not clean very well anymore. Just had the repairman out once again and he explained why the design of this dishwasher provides such poor quality and requires the owner to completely rinse all dishes before using this one and to scrub the inside on a monthly basis. I've never had to scrub a dishwasher before! We'll be putting this one on craigslist and going back to a Maytag.

We purchased this product in the summer of 2011 and just after the 1 year mark, after the warranty, the wheel on the upper rack broke. Within months the opposite wheel broke. Now less than two years later we are replacing the same part again along with another bracket. The interior plastic is visibly disintegrating. If you need a dishwasher that is rigorous, ie you FILL it daily, then you will be VERY disappointed. The plastic replacement piece cost around $25, and that is 2 times a year. Buyer beware!!!!

Don't waste your money. Broke after less than 2 years. Control panel went out. The part is under warranty but Kitchenaid has the WORST customer service. I've been waiting weeks for the part. They first sent me a huge plastic drawer for a refrigerator. Now, I've been waiting nearly 2 weeks more to get the correct part. The supervisor handling my case will NOT RETURN calls. Never buying another Kitchenaid product.

We searched on-line and in stores researching every brand, and was impressed that this dishwasher got such RAVE reviews. However, the dishwasher that we got is nothing like that. It leaves the glasses spotty and the rest of the dishes greasy. (we do have soft water and use a rinse aid). We have had it for about 6 months now and the top rack has broken off the tracks. So not only does it not clean at all, it also doesn't hold the top rack in. Each time we pull it out, it drops off into the bottom rack. We are wishing we had our old dishwasher back. Do not believe the reviews. Spend your money on the Bosch.

It has died after 1 week of use. We shall see what will happen from here.

Bought two days ago dishes have cloudy film on them. Called kitchenaid they said it was a manufacturing problem. They are going to send some refresh tablets. Sorry I bought it!!!
