This mixer has all the speeds you will ever need and is light enough to use without tiring your hand out

As this is a hand mixer and not a stand mixer, I would not use this on thick cookie batters, but for whipping egg whites to a stiff froth and adding sugar and vanilla, and then whipping soft butter into a buttercream, it's great. I just made a perfect batch of French macarons with almond and vanilla. A++

My wife's hand mixer broke down, and we decided on this KitchenAid one because she loves her KitchenAid countertop mixer. The quality is noticeably better than our previous hand mixer, and we haven't had any issues with it. It's definitely worth spending a little more on.

I was looking for an inexpensive mixer which would do the job when I needed something done. I infrequently bake, so do not use a mixer all of the time. But on the occassion when I do bake, it is nice to know this mixer will be able to handle the work. I picked the color to match the new items in my kitchen.

The old mixer actually burnt up while making cookies, purchased this one from Best Buy and of course used my rewards great deal, plus I needed this mixer asap and like always item was sitting on my front porch a couple of days later.
