You cannot buy KitchenAid mixers at Best Buy/East Peoria, and have to order one online. It's a simple process and delivery was swift! It was nice to have it delivered right to my door than lugging it from the store to home. This one is probably the third I've had over the years, and past ones were just given away. They never actually died. They are certainly dependable and offer so many features. I like all the speeds one can use, 1-10 gives alot of choices for what you are preparing. It's great the 3 and 5qt bowls are stainless steel. Never a problem. I have a permanent spot on my counter with a purchased cover so the mixer is always available. Yes, they are heavy, but it is necessary for the mixer to work well, and remain stable while preparing anything. It's great over the years I have seen no decline in the quality in using my KitchenAid mixers.
