The concept of this device is great, and it definitely engages and entertains the cats I have. Trouble is, it just doesn't work consistently. Sometimes I can connect to it, sometimes I can't (my wireless internet is flawless by the way). Sometimes the unit makes a strange "clicking" noise that I can only stop by turning the unit off and back on again (can't tell if that happens when I'm not in the room with it). Very disappointed. Maybe I got a lemon.

My disappointments with the Kittyo continue the longer I actually have it. The long delays from their Kickstarter aside, nothing about my unit works well. I frequently cannot connect, even on robust wifi. When I can connect, the picture quality is abysmal. The laser pointer lags or freezes. I’m only glad I didn’t pay full price for this.

Kittyo is great for travelers. My wife and I travel often, and although we have a regular cat sitter, we love to use Kittyo to stay connected with our two cats while away. We talk to our cats, play with them using the Kittyo's laser and our cats love the treats. It also gives us piece of mind to check up on them anytime we want. Super easy to set-up and use. The mobile app is user friendly and intuitive. Most importantly our cats LOVE IT!

I recommend Kittyo to anyone with a cat. My only complaint is that it took a long time to arrive after I ordered it on Kickstarter. When I set my Kittyo up it would not work from outside my apartment. However, their support staff helped me with some port forwarding stuff on my router and now it’s fun to use when I’m at work. I love playing with all three of my cats and giving them treats when I’m not home.

Kittyo is awesome! My cats love it. I can check on them while I am away from the house. They love getting treats and playing with the laser. Super easy to set up and use.
