Frankly, Klipsch is a well known audio company, so we were confident in it's quality. With that being said, I was left expecting just a little more than what was delivered. Granted, it still delivered plenty of crisp, clean audio which makes for great back ground noise. Isn't excessively loud nor heavy bass. Battery life seems to be fairly short and when it's low, it let's you know by fading the concent being played in and out every few seconds. However; the vintage look was one of the main reasons we opted for this piece! For all those reasons, it got a 4 out of 5.

This speaker was purchased for my husband's office. He said the sound quality is good for the room! This is not ideal for larger rooms as the sound will carry as well. The speaker is small but is solid. Overall it was a very good deal for what we needed it for!

This is a fantastic speaker as the price would suggest. There are limitations with respect to bass range and overall volume level that make me think this is right for a personal listening situation rather than room filling sound. Bass response is limited with little punch and occasional buzzing in certain bass-heavy genres of music. On the other hand, the mids and highs are fantastic. Vocals and horns are bright and clear surpassing Sony, JBL, and Bose models in the same price range. Great for rock: Able to hear many tiny nuances in guitar riffs and drumlines. Excellent for jazz and classical: jazz vocals and horns are crisp and bright. Distortion free even at high volumes. Good for R&B: there is no voice this speaker doesn't reproduce beautifully and realistically. Electronic bass lines occasionally find some buzzing and low frequencies. Acoustic and bass guitar though. . . Different story; they are surprisingly clean and detailed especially considering the size. Also, if design matters, this is beautifully crafted piece of equipment. Clean metal corners and textured coverings come together to give a modern design an authentic retro feel.

Perfect size perfect weight perfect look perfect sound. I absolutely love this speaker. Very easy to set up no problem. Very good quality. The name speaks for it self. I own many portable speakers this one is my favorite.

I bought this to have a small portable music source while working around the house. I've owned Klipsch speakers for decades, with a 43 year old pair of Klipschorns in my main system, and a 26 year old pair of La Scalas in the "man cave", so I am quite familiar with the Klipsch "sound". I was curious about what their version of a BT speaker would sound like and was honestly a bit apprehensive about this speaker when I discovered that it uses only a single 3" driver. No stereo driver arrangement? Don't need it! The sound is emanating from a single point! No separate woofer and tweeter? That could still be an issue if that 3" driver can't reproduce a wide enough range of frequencies. So I took a chance and bought the unit on sale for a little over $100. Unpacking it, I was impressed with the build quality and heft of the unit. I'm sure most of the weight is from the magnet in the driver and the L-ion battery pack. It's like a little audio brick! At first use, I thought I would need to return the unit. It sounded congested in the midrange, bass was very thin and there were no highs to speak of. I'm glad I didn't return it immediately, because after about 12 hours of playback (2 times full charge to discharge) that little 3" driver started to break in and really opened up! Now I would purchase this unit again if I lost it! Not the highest of highs or lowest of lows, but detailed, articulate sound with enough volume to work outside. Took it to the beach and streamed Spotify over it, and everyone remarked about how such a little unit made such a big sound! Over the sound of ocean waves, Zac Brown Band's "Toes" and "Hwy 20 Ride" sounded great from this little unit! Recommended! No regrets on this purchase!

I purchased a Bluetooth Bose radio because I like my Bose speakers. I read the reviews before I got it... always read the 1 star reviews and it seemed the biggest complaint was how it charged in the cradle. I figured I wouldn't have that problem. Well, I did have that problem and it stopped taking a charge after about a month. So I took it back and got this Klipsch for about 1/3 the price of the Bose. For what sound you're going to get out of a speaker this small, I can't even hardly tell the difference. But I do mostly listen to podcasts. And when it needs a charge, you just plug it in! No cradle to fuss around with to make sure it is secured properly. Just plug it in and it charges! Also, it's a very nice looking speaker (I got the Walnut finish and love it). I'm very pleased with this purchase.

After I was home for a bit, I made my first test with my cell phone using Tidal music service as the payback source. My phone is capable of doing 24 bit / 48 Khz. Sound quality was good for coming from a phone, but the real eye opened was when I hooked it via Bluetooth to my laptop. That is when the magic happened!!! The sound really opened up and got solid as a rock!!! No buzzing at all coming from the speaker like the other guy experienced. But, then again, I was not playing any very bass heavy rap music from it. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a small, simplified way to get awesome sound from a small speaker. Sounds way bigger than the speaker actually is. Way better than anything Bose or JBL makes.

Love this speaker. The look is retro-cool, and it feels very solid and well made. The buttons are nice, the wood is quality looking and feeling. The sound is top notch. This is not meant to replace a home stereo. But, the sound is really nice. It does not have that artificial bass sound, and doesnt sound sythesized. Very natural sounding.

I bought this item when it went on sale, and I had to wait one more week for it to be delivered because it temporarily went out of stock right after I placed the order. Finally it arrived and I couldn't wait to pair it up with my phone to try it out. First of all, this speaker is built with very good materials, and it's got some good weight on it. The retro design makes the speaker look very artistic and elegant, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. To test the sound, I chose a song that's got some good bass. Literally, within the first few seconds I was able to tell this is not the speaker I was hoping for, and immediately felt disappointed with Klipsch for making such a speaker not being able to keep up with its reputation and standard. I'm not a bass bead but the bass is indeed very weak. On the other side, the vocal is way too pronounced and it even kinda overshadows the music. I tried another couple days and was hoping to prove I was wrong. I even asked my friend to try it and his description was that it sounds cheap. Unfortunately, I had to return this item.

It sounds OK, It does not have as much bass as my Marshall Bluetooth, which cost more and is bigger. I still like it for the clearance price.

I use this for work; both conferences and music. Works better for conferences. As other folks have said, lacks bass but had great clarity up to about 80% then it starts to distort pretty bad. I paid $80 for the black version which I think is now discontinued. I wouldn’t pay $150. Marshal makes one that is superior for music with a robust sound at the same price point. One more thing... Klipsch customer service I’ve found won’t pickup phones and takes weeks to respond via email.

I was on the fence about buying this cause of the negative reviews. I'm glad I decided to go with my gut and not listen to others . Nice sound for size and the reviews about no bass lol there is just isn't power bass after all it isn't a subwoofer.

Firstly, I am somewhat biased towards Klipsch - I have Klipsch floor speakers, subs and a center speaker. I love them. So I figured I'd get a Klipsch Bluetooth speaker... Practically all Klipsch speakers go on sale frequently. So there is no need to pay full price for this. For a small speaker, the base is very good, and it gets pretty loud if you need it to. I enjoy listening to this while relaxing on our deck. Bottom line: Would I recommend this at a sale price? YES!!!!

I wanted a speaker with a style that fit my ModernMidCentury bathroom remodel. This speaker fit the bill. I would describe my audio sensitivity to be average to slightly above, and the product doesn’t stray in end results from the many online reviews. Expect to want a bit more in the low range when listening to HipHop, Pop, EDM, but for Classical, Jazz, and Classic Rock this speaker does everything well. It is just as capable if not better than similar purposed and priced speakers just without water resistance. I personally own an Ultimate Ears Boom2 and it surpasses it.

This speaker was a replacement from one that didn't work. I have to say the design is breathtaking and I like the old-style feel I get from it. The sound is incredible and loud for such a small speaker. The quality and daily use of the speaker so far has been excellent.

If you want a booming bass speaker, then this one is not for you. If you want crystal clear quality sound, then it is. The speaker looks awesome too. Very high quality.

Great sound small, compact well built at a great price! The grill makes for great styling. Bluetooth and the Aux input makes it use anywhere and super portable!

Good quality. Plenty of power for its size. Tho I have not actually timed it, it last most of the day and recharges quickly.

This is the best speaker I have ever had. It’s much nicer than the ones that look like a bazooka speaker. Great sound and a great price. Stays charged for a long time.

Great Klipsch sound. The clarity, ease of use and overall room filling sound without distortion is GREAT! Plus...it's solid and a really nice looking piece and very portable.
