    Not bad

I've had a set of Logitech Z3s for around 10 years and I'm still impressed with their output of a properly equalized feed. I wanted a second pair of these for around the house and saw this Klipsch set. I read a lot of reviews and felt old when most reviewers said, "Not bad for a set of "No Name" brand speakers" or "I took a chance on a set of "No Name" brand speakers and I like them". Klipsch started making high end speakers in Arkansas in 1946. The Klipsch horn was revolutionary. I wish the unit I picked up had been a Version 2 with class AB amp circuits which many prefer over the class D circuits in the Version 3 available today. The sound quality of my ProMedia 2.1 is “different” from my Z3s. I got both on sale for around the same price so the comparison is fair. There are other higher rated 2.1 speaker sets but they are considerably more money than these. Both speaker sets require equalization and both sound good once equalized to taste. The ones I like better depends on what I’m listening to. If I had to pick one I’d go with the ProMedia. They have more realistic sounding satellites but while the bass gets louder than the Z3s, I prefer the bass quality of the Z3s. The Klipsch bass is boomy, the Z3s tighter which I prefer. The Z3s sound better balanced at low volume but the Klipsch sound impressive at medium to higher volumes.I’d love to try mixing the set to see what happens. Overall I’m satisfied with the ProMedias considering what I paid and would recommend them when you see them on sale. The only negative is the subwoofer hum. I'm not sure if they all do it but mine hums a lot. I had to pick up a ground loop hum filter which reduced the hum by around 90%.

A pair of speakers and a subwoofer that can connect to your computer by wire or Bluetooth. My computer holds a lot of music and this system is a perfect way to listen to it . Great bass and treble and it packs all the punch I require to listen to my music. Absolutely excellent !

200 watts of pure power and got these on sale for $80. Klipsch is a new brand that is highly recommended by Best Buy associates and so far, so good. I also invested in some Klipsch ear buds since my daughters kept breaking the cheap ones, and so far no issues. I highly recommend these speakers, and the brand.....the Germans know their stuff!!

Nothing else in this type of system comes close to it! Short of setting up an expensive receiver ( and 2.1 receivers are impossible to find) and spending a lot on speaker and a costly sub, impossible to sound better. And not is it loud! PS: get a Belkin splitter and you can connect a Chromecast audio, Xbox, TV and a computer to it as well.

For a computer these speakers have all the power you would ever need. If you want to use them as Bluetooth speakers in your apartment or room, you can do that too. Plenty of base, and great adjustability to the sound.

Clean Highs, Good Mid-range, Full Lower Range

I hate listening to audio devices where the highs are muffled and the lower range is overpowering or just doesn't exist. That is NOT this System. The Klipsch Promedia 2.1 just may be the BEST BUY (pun intended) for great Stereo sound in a computer speaker system for the money. The highs are clean but not harsh. The Mid-range is good and the lower range is not lost. With a separate volume control for the subwoofer you have the option of really booming the bass or fine tuning it so that you feel its presence and think you're hearing that full rich sound from the small units on the top of the desk (how I prefer it). If you're patient and wait for a sale (like I did) you can snag this unit at a great price.

I had already purchased the Klipsch wired system a few months back, and I gave it a 5 star rating. Great highs and very deep lows, even at high volumes, with no distortion. With such great sound, I decided to make my apt a complete sound emporium. With over 1200 songs to choose from, saved on my PC. I bought the Klipsch Bluetooth model of the same line, and set it up in my other room. The quality and performance of the wireless system was equal if not slightly better than it's wired cousin near my PC. I recommend either system, but I must say the Bluetooth model is much more diversified. But hang on until you find it on sale at BB, which is often. Its worth every penny.

I have an older version of these speakers non blu tooth. When Best Buy reduces these to $109 deal of day I had to purchase them. I love the blu tooth capability. They don’t sound any different from the older speakers. I hooked these up to my 4k Sony TV and the sound is awesome. I have a Polk audio sound bar hooked up to this t.v, these sound so much better than a soundbar. I recommend these speakers for tv sound system over soundbar. The blu tooth is working flawlessly. I just wish they would have added an on & off switch. The only thing I don’t like about this speaker system. I highly recommend these speakers.

I have been looking at these for a while. The sound quality is superb. Full rich base. The only negative I have read about the speakers is about the control unit. Still decided to give it a try and I don't regret it. I would definitely recommend those who appreciate good sound quality.

Just got this bad boy delivered today (Purchased on sale for $99.99) and I had some doubts about this thinking that the sound wouldn't be great and the bass would be just like other typical systems but boy was I wrong! I hooked it up to my PC which was easy to set up, 5 minutes at the most? and this thing has some very high quality sound from the speakers and the sub with bass full max is just mind blowing! I have a Samsung (KM39) 200 watt soundbar with sub for one of my TV's and after hearing the sub with this Klipsch, I think my samsung sub is just a weakling. For anyone worried about bluetooth being on constantly with no way to shut it off unless you unplug the entire unit it self, you dont have to worry if you live in a house instead of a tight space apartment complex since in a house and such, BT only reaches 10 to 20 feet at the most I believe? Imagine this, with my samsung soundbar system which has BT built in, my computer is maybe approximately 15 feet away from it and the BT cuts in and out with a weak connection, so BT being open on this Klipsch set is not a worry to me since I doubt anyone would be right beside my bedroom window trying to connect to my speakers via BT playing whatever they please because they would have a hard time keeping a connection or it just cutting out completely. If you are on the verge on getting this... Just do it! Its a very nice unique rich set and looks great with my PC!

This was a Christmas Gift for my son, who is using this as a sound system for his Xbox, and TV/BluRay using 32 inch flat-screen as a monitor... with a digital to analog converter (as Xbox only has optical audio output), the sound in his room is incredible! Bluetooth connection for streaming music works flawlessly and is equally as impressive. You will NOT be disappointed with this sound system. Set-up is a breeze and very intuitive, and easy to customize amount of bass with separate sub volume. Easily fills up the room with quality sound (not just loud) and this is very characteristic of Klipsch products.

I bought these to replace the same system bought in 2002 and finally died. The sound quality is pretty much the same and what I expected from Klipsch at the third of the cost of the Bose speakers. The highs and lows sound great and if you enjoy base, the subwoofer will take care of those needs. The bluetooth as indicated by other reviews is kind of annoying in that you CANNOT turn it off. You also cannot turn off the the speaker system itself. You can only turn down the volume. Two negatives but not enough to keep me from purchasing the system and I am happy with the sound quality. Easy set up and I do enjoy still being able to plug into my soundcard vice usb like other systems.

These speakers have very good sound for their price point. Deep undistorted bass, nice mid-range, and good highs. The Bluetooth takes a while to get connected the first time, but once done works great. I don't think you can connect more than one device to the speakers at one time, which would be nice at times. Also once connected to one device and you want to switch to another it seems like you have to unplug the speakers, turn off the blue tooth on one device and turn on the other device Bluetooth when you plug in the speakers again. Other than that these things rock.

I was skeptical at first but once the set up was done and the initial new smell phase passed I was hooked up and ready to jam. These speakers are kickin and I have no regrets about this purchase, I could tell my girl how much I spent but once the bass dropped it was easy to tell that I made a wise choice. Movies, games, music, all sound crisp and clear. The Bluetooth implementation is a bonus for Chromecast Music. My only issue is that it is Always on, no power button to be found. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to step up their PC sound game.

I bought the bluetooth version to replace the wired version that I had for 5 years. The sound was just as good or better. Bluetooth made it easy for me to use on all of my computers and ipads. Great investment
