Easy to set up and get the party bumping with this amazing subwoofer. If you want some bass that shakes the room? This subwoofer supply the bass needed for room shaking bass. Inwould buy again just to have two!

Went from a boston pv600 to this. 12 inch is perfect. Great sound, great price can't go wrong. Really nice punch for both music and movies.

I really enjoy my Klipsch bookshelf by itself and wanted to add Klipsch Subwoofer to compliment the sound. On my first impression, when i pick it up, it wasnt heavy and its a large box. Then i set up my RCA cables to my Sony receiver STR-DH790. I played music (hip hop) crank the settings and was surprised to hear the subwoofer maxed out. It wasn’t distorted at all. It was clear, loud, filling the room with a big boom, but it wasnt earth shattering loud. I was satisfied with the bass after making some adjustments. My expectations were too high. I was expecting to hit harder because of the size. Maybe i need to upgrade my reciever. Maybe i need more speakers. Overall it sound great.

Easy setup. Works well. On the large side so you have to have the right room configuration. Not a subwoofer expert but sounds great as expected.

I didn’t expect this subwoofer to make such a big difference, but wow — my entire system feels upgraded. The Klipsch 12" delivers deep, room-shaking bass during movies but also stays controlled and smooth for music. Nothing boomy, nothing sloppy — just clean, powerful low end. My room is about medium size, and this sub fills the space easily without needing to crank the volume. It blends well with my speakers and adds a fullness I didn’t realize I was missing. For the price, this might be one of the best upgrades I've made to my setup.

I bought this to complete my home theater system and was blown away by the sound. Even on the lowest setting it delivers amazing bass. It definitely rocks!

Purchased at deep discount. A tremendous bargin. Now that it is installed with the complete klipsch surround sound speaker package the movie nights have been epic.

Deep rich bass. Options such as crossover point. Easy setup. Good price point. It is a little bigger than I wanted, but not a deal breaker. Overall, a great buy.

If you are looking for a more affordable alternative to an SVS brand subwoofer, this is a fantastic choice. I had a 12inch SVS subwoofer for about 10 years before the amp needed to be replaced, and decided that spending over $1,000 for a new one, was a lot more than I wanted to spend. After doing a lot of research, I settled on this Klipsch Reference 12". The Reference Series is the newest model of Klipsch speakers and a significant improvement over their previous model. I am currently using this sub in a small home office room (approximately 12'x12') with 2 Bowers and Wilkins Bookshelf Speakers, and a recently acquired Klipsch C-200 Center Speaker, and yes, it is a bit overkill, but sounds amazing hooked up to my Denon Receiver, primarily being used as the sound system for my PS5. A 10inch would probably better suit such a small room and would be a good option. As far as sound goes, it has just as much loudness as an SVS, and to my ears, has a bit more punch in the bass, whereas my old SVS had more depth of resonance. For gaming, I would definitely recommend a sub with more punch.

Had to purchase a new subwoofer to replace an older Onkyo that died. A few years ago, I upgraded my home speakers to Klipsch so thought it was time to match the subwoofer. Holy smokes with this loud and deep! I have it supplying bass to a room approximately 750 Sq feet and turning halfway makes just about everything rattle. Nice, crisp sound comes out of this speaker and it really adds to the experience of watching TV/movie/music video, playing video games, or streaming on a music app.

This subwoofer complements my bookshelf speakers and center speakers like I am in the movie theater! It’s so powerful I had to turn down the settings the house was shaking. I watched Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the explosions are so loud! Love it.

I am disappointed with this subwoofer. It just doesn't live up to that Klipsch reputation that I have come to know. Let me start with looks. The style is very simple and modern, just like the other speakers in this series. It has a smooth finish and is black on black. The grille is also black and has plastic pegs to hold it in place to cover the subwoofer driver in the front. The pegs feel a bit cheap and breakable, which is why I have never really been a fan of them. I understand they need it to stay in place but feel like they could have used a stronger set of magnets to secure it like the speakers in this reference series. The driver is nice look look at with that copper color. The size of the surround on the driver is built well and looks good. The connectivity is a limited with only RCA inputs to connect it to the LFE output on your receiver or pre-amp. It stinks that there aren't line level inputs to hook up to older receivers or an integrated amp for a two channel music setup. That would have been a great feature. Now, the sound. I'm not fan. It either lacks or is too muddy. There isn't much of a sweet spot for the gain, crossover and phase. I have played several action and horror movies and it just doesn't do well with it's overall sound. For the price of this thing, I feel like there is much better for the same amount. Overall, this was a bit of a disappointment.

I’ve been using the Klipsch R-121SW subwoofer for two weeks now , and honestly, I’m really happy with it. The difference it made in my setup was noticeable right away—the bass is deep, punchy, and just makes everything more fun to watch and listen to. What I like most is that it doesn’t feel overwhelming or muddy. It adds that extra “boom” for movies and music, but still sounds clean and balanced. Watching action movies feels way more immersive now, and even music has more depth. Setup was pretty simple, and I didn’t have to mess around too much to get it sounding right. It also looks nice and doesn’t take away from the room. For the price, I think it’s totally worth it. If you’re thinking about adding a subwoofer to your system, this one is a solid choice.
