This is a speaker we got to replace a Bose speaker we were unhappy with. We could not understand words because of hearing difficulties. This sound is much clearer and is adjustable. Very pleased!

Upon arrival of the product it was noted that a wireless adaptor was needed. Not good at all. The adaptor cost is $500.

Awesome and Interoperatble

I borrowed a 5.1 set of these speakers (Center, sub, 2 towers, 2 bookshelf) and and paired them up with an Axiim WiSA transmitter for a party. They were great and a big hit. If they have a WiSA logo they are inter-operable. In other words I can mix and match any brands of speakers with any brands of head unit. Not locked into an ecosystem like Bose or Sonos (if they even had a true 5.1 or 7.1 wireless system) Setup to playing 5.1 audio took less than 10 minutes even with the brand differences. Sound was phenomenal! I didn't like where I'd placed the rear/surrounds. Moving them was as easy as unplugging from the wall, moving them, and plugging them back it. They started playing immediately. With the Axiim head unit I was able to adjust the the 'distance' of each speaker to my listening location, so volume and phase were balanced out.
The dynamic range of the speakers was well beyond my listening threshold.
All in all they are great.

Adding center to existing system

Previously owned two RP-440WF. Added the center channel in less than 2 minutes. Simply plugged it in and added a speaker from the menu. The previous firmware updates I had received were able to be applied to the new speaker without any extra downloads. Love the WiSA system and the lack of speaker wire I previously had everywhere.

I was able to set up this home theater system in less than 10 minutes, once unpacked. No pulling wires, no reading a long manual, very intuitive. Very impressed. Powerful sound.

Not for typical home theatre systems

Bought a new Marantz SR6013 home theatre system and asked Magnolia rep for the best center speaker for dialog which works with the Marantz. He recommended this speaker so I bought and it would be shipped to me. It arrived today and upon opening noticed the unit was a return as the unit was not packed as new and the power cord bag was ripped and stickers removed and place on bag.
Next I could not find a jack to place the speaker wires into. So looked at the manual and it is some manual for a wireless hub unit and remote. No manual for the actual speaker. So looked it up on this website and guess what? It is a wireless only speaker.
So will be taking back to store for a wired speaker.
